Website idea, needs your constructive criticism

    IDEA
My initial thought was a delivery service for those restaurants that do not deliver, offering their menu's on your site and delivery. From what I can gather, you want to build a site that contains the menu's for multiple restaurants within a given zip code? Am I right?

    Website builder?

I have searched the e-biz section. If i recall correctly, a member posted the link on a thread which was irrelevant to the post so I'm having a hard time locating it. Thanks for the thread info, very useful.

    Website builder?

I apologize up front if I am breaking any rules although I don't believe I am. I came across a thread not too long ago where a member recommended a relatively new website design company to a member here by posting a link to there site, does anyone here recall this? I know what I'm asking for...

    POA brick wall

I agree with you Eastwind. My issue with schooling is it feels and is imo a much more time intensive course to go through. I 100% agree with continually pursuing knowledge, but I prefer physical interaction, seeing development, and being heavily involved. Diving into books and homework while...

    POA brick wall

Great links. Thank you for sharing your story and advice. I came to the conclusion that I will have to put this idea aside and push on with a focus on products that are a bit more feasible with my finances. Thanks again! Ill be sure to PM you when I'm going through development.

Are you living your PASSION.....are ya?

For a number of years, bodybuilding was my passion, but the day to day of eating 7 times a day and the relentless pursuit of perfection has taken it's toll on me. I am still an active weight lifter, but not to the professional extent. My passion would be a professional race car driver in cars...

    POA brick wall

I seem to have hit a POA brick wall. I have been in the pursuit and development of 2 ideas to date and after much consultation with a number of companies have came to the conclusion that the funding necessary to develop the ideas is out of my reach, at least from being personally funded. How...

    freelance recommendations

A professional electrical engineer would be the one. I have contacted multiple product development and engineering firms to find out that my product will require upwards of $100,000 just to get the ball rolling, thus I thought I would try and find a freelance engineer to do some prototype work...

I am in the search of an electrical engineer. Is there a freelance site anyone recommends or prefers?? Thanks

    Locating an engineer

I have an idea for a product that I want to develop and get a prototype of. How would one go about finding an engineer to work together on an idea? I found a freelance website but have yet to find someone that has great work. I was hoping to find someone close so that this could be a person to...

So You Want a Business Idea?

    IDEA
I have noticed as well others on this forum that ideas aren't what they are cracked up to be. Its not the type of thing where you think of something and instantly say "eureka!" that's the golden egg. MJ, other members, and countless books will reiterate that its in the execution. I think of...

Cut all strings and go for it?

Vr4playa, haven't seen you in awhile, I wish you the best in your struggles. Feel free to go on if you like. I enjoy hearing everyone's story regardless if it's short or long. Great advice as well. Many on here have advised to go through with dropping the job which I want to do, but it seems...

Cut all strings and go for it?

As some may know I have been reading one of Felix Dennis books and was curious as to how many on here have done this or how they have approached it. He talks about cutting loose from working for people, I am in a position where I could quit my job but my living expenses would be paid for by...

    Felix Dennis book lesson???

    MJ, any input on this?
  19. lightweight99

    Another Felix Dennis question.

A piece from the book: "Money is never owned. It is only in your custody for a while. Time is always running on, and the young have more of it in their pocket than the richest man or woman alive. That is not sentimentality speaking. That is sober fact. And yet you wish to waste your youth in...
