The Good Ones Are Quiet - How to shut up bad, loud customers?

    PEOPLE
I've had good experience with Yotpo after-shipment e-mails. Just be sure to make it personal, make them know you value their opinion and you won't need any bribes. Also, make sure do add your "personal e-mail" in case something didn't go as planned, that way you avoid a bad review before it...

Strugling to Outsource Design & UX/UI work, help needed

    PEOPLE
I have been browsing dribbble.com for the past hour, found some great designers and lots of examples of what I need to get done. I'm contacting some of the designers based on their portfolio.

Strugling to Outsource Design & UX/UI work, help needed

    PEOPLE
So I'm hitting a wall here, I have all the backend figured out, marketing strategy, offers, etc, I have my USPs defined. Now I need to change my homepage and make it appealing (clean, elegant and "new"), showcase the USPs in a few seconds while redirecting the user to the next step of the...

    What to do with 100k

    INVESTING
50k in a safe investment (let's say, 5% ), and 50k in a less-safe investment (I'd put it all in P2P loans, 15% expected return) Now you have an infinite monthly cashflow of 800$ to 1250$. Use it and your time to fund your venture. You don't need to pour 30-40k into something, you need time and...

I'm looking for this product, sadly it is not on the market. Who knows, this might be your way to $$

It is always going to happen, you're cramming a 160º view on a flat surface. Most editing video softwares designed with GoPro in mind can handle and correct it I believe. (I've seen with with pictures at least ) It could be embbed in the product tho, but It would require processing and battery...

Commandment of Control - Pinterest starts banning affiliate links

This is good news, it means they will most likely open a platform like facebook where any brand will be able to advertise no matter their size or budget

Thinking of attending a university business program? Think again.

I'm currently at my 2nd year on one of the top30 Business schools, I can confirm, you won't learn anything that you wouldn't learn outside, doing it. Don't go to school just for the sake of going to school, even if it's free, value your time wisely.

Facebook Ads Not Running: Is This Normal?

    HOT! MARKETING
For everyone getting expensive ads and giving up, I have one word: remarketing. Lets say you pay 0.25 per click for cold traffic, converts at 1%, 25€/sale. Those 99% that didn't buy are more likely to convert than any cold traffic Now add remarketing: Well targetted ads should land bellow...

That's insane. I can ship from Portugal to Canada for 6€, estimated delivery time is around 1 week (goes by regular AirMail, tracked). In China it costs probably 1 to 2$ (but it takes a bit more time), they have insane shipping prices, I've bought items for 1 to 3$ with shipping already included.

    Discount Codes in Disguise

    WEB/DIGITAL
I knew that, but a regular customer might not. My point was, it is clever, but it might cause confusion with an actual password, so I would advise thinking about it and using other expression. If you had an account on that website, you were most likely going to enter your account password...

To Be ... or Not to Be ... in a New Browser Window

    WEB/DIGITAL
You have to think if your prospect is either getting away or closer to the desired action. So in any page with-in my funnel, the next steps of the funnel open on the same window, but any other links either open in a in-page pop-up (Shipping info, FAQ, etc) or on a new page (links to blog posts...

    Discount Codes in Disguise

    WEB/DIGITAL
Clever, but if people are registered to your website it could cause more harm than good. I use "gift card" instead of coupon/discount code and I only display a small phrase "Have a gift card? Click here" , and the input box only shows if the user clicks
