Fastlane Parenting (Tips, Tactics...)
GOLD! PEOPLEYep my GF and I know people that do this and when our kid(s) are of that age we aim to go a very different path with their education to the norm. If we live unscripted whats the point of putting kids in 12 years of scripted eduction? For them to come home at night bulk studying assignments with...- Bearcorp

Former Alcoholic Turned Esports Entrepreneur
INTROWelcome to the forum @better and thank you for sharing your story, I have friends in the alcohol industry and the constant need to drink/sample/socialise while drinking is a habit they can't snap out of. It's a massive effort to even recognise, let alone break those bad habits, if you can sell...- Bearcorp

Should you worry about the competition? I'm afraid to scale
Great comment, this rings true for a lot of big businesses. The people in charge have no connection to the customer, only High level managers who are there to protect themselves before anything or anyone else. My last job a few years ago was for a big manufacturer and I learnt an incredible...- Bearcorp

Should you worry about the competition? I'm afraid to scale
Spot on. As you grow, it won't just be competitors you have to worry about, all the people wanting to bite on an idea will have a go at it too. You'll step on toes you didn't know were there. None of them give a shit about you, not as a person or your business. So f**k them too. Back yourself in...- Bearcorp

NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHATHave finished the novel "Colombiano" By Rusty Young, the author of "Marching Powder". A very different world to the one I live in, I read Marching Powder years ago and was completely fascinated by the way those on the other side of the tracks live, makes me grateful for the challenges I face in...- Bearcorp

How would you make money on a 18k FB group?
SOCIAL MEDIAI can't remember the name of it, but there is a Facebook group started by a guy in the state I live in, sharing pictures of epic lawns. He grew to 70k members, and started selling anything relevant, gardening tools, fertiliser, whatever you need to grow a good lawn. Your friend could develop...- Bearcorp

Stop Watching the News!
MINDSETI don't disagree with any of this, but your business doesn't have to reflect your fastlane beliefs. I don't let what I personally think get in the way of how I can connect to my market. Now keep in mind, I personally have a social media brand. I want organic, unpaid engagement. Nothing gets...- Bearcorp

Stop Watching the News!
MINDSETMaybe the question you could ask is; "How do I leverage off the most trending topic in the world right now to my advantage?" 1.9 billion people watched the wedding live, mainstream media and social media feeds for the next week or so will mainly consist of memes, articles and topics relating...- Bearcorp

Branding so good that it's stupid?
MARKETINGOP, do you have a brand? Before thinking about how to afford to pay the Rock to wear something, focus on building a brand that people will like. Social proof doesn't just come from the biggest celebrity in the world rocking your gear, it also comes from regular people wearing it too. And If...- Bearcorp

NBA Playoffs
OFF-TOPICI've gotten right into NBA and NFL the last few years, time zone difference means the games are on during the day here and its all we watch in the office. Didn't really have a team but with Ben Simmons flying the Aussie flag for 76ers I got on them at the start of this season, I also followed...- Bearcorp

The horsepower of your decisions - Connor McGregor charged with assault and criminal mischief
OFF-TOPICNo doubt this was Conor playing the part of notorious Irish maniac, justifying it by what Khabib's team did to Lobov a day earlier, and the UFC would legit be pissed about it. But from the organisations point of view, if it was as disgusting as Dana went on about he would of been fired on the...- Bearcorp

The horsepower of your decisions - Connor McGregor charged with assault and criminal mischief
OFF-TOPICWill get a slap on the wrist and Conor v Khabib will be the biggest grossing pay per view of all time. I enjoyed UFC when it was about the fighters, not so much now thats its a real version of WWE, but they know how to draw money, which is what its all about for the promoters.- Bearcorp
