Trying to sell t-shirts in a overcrowded market

    WEB/DIGITAL
Here are a few of my first thoughts. Please don't take this as a "hate" post, I'm posting this to help. 1. Remove the repeating background of your brand icon. You could leave it white or another "comforting" (light) color. You already have your icon on there, and anyone who has the browser...

    Calling all software developers

Rocksolid the problem with putting the effort into doing this is that it's doesn't exactly bring much *unique* value. If you can find two programs to do what you need with just two quick searchs on google and download them free why would you buy software for it? You're not doing anything that...

    Calling all software developers

I haven't done any video editting before but here is my suggestion (which may not be the "best" but it is an option). First just find a program to convert the format of the file into whatever format you want\need. Then go: Free video editing software list for all platforms.and download one of...

Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh Gives Utterly Brilliant Advice

Ha, apparently I'm going to spark a deep down hate of yours but I'm just curious? Why are you so adamant about not being able to do what you love to make money? I'm not going to deny that this most likely isn't possible for everyone but it certainly is possible. I realize that there are...

    Social network?

That's true.. For some reason I cannot wrap my head around why the business would just buy a business instead of paying the owner to show their advertisements to the traffic on the site. It would not only be much cheaper for the advertiser, but they aren't buying something that is just getting...

    Social network?

I don't quite understand, why do you want to "make money" (to me that is profit but I'll use it your way) instead of profit? While there are certain things I would do absolutely free of charge because I love doing it enough, I cannot imagine you want to spend the few thousand (as you projected)...

    Social network?

MoneyMaka, I believe you're misinformed about the money that these sites are making. Take a look at this article: Facebook May Be Growing Too Fast. And Hitting The Capital Markets Again. Perhaps you can try to figure out ways for these sites to pull in money instead of just "making another"...

Gary Vaynerchuk: Keynote at Blog World Expo.

    WEB/DIGITAL
Very big fan of his message (not sure of for this video on dial-up right now) in his videos. One thing to point out though is if you go on to watch other videos of his it's a good idea to just jump to his Q&A part instead of watching to "introduction" part. It's essentially the same thing for...

Thanks for the suggestion CloudNine. It's kind of funny just yesterday I finally choose one that I decided to go with. I decdecided to settle with something I considered "good" instead of going for the perfect one since they are all taken! haha Also, I honestly don't feel like CloudNine was...

Say hello to my son ... Fastlane!

I'll feel bad for the kid when he finds out that his mom put his selection of a name on Ebay in order to buy a new car. Or worse yet, his school mates. haha

The moment of truth ...MAC or PC?

    HOT!
Software sold on shelves isn't the only option though. There are many great open source applications that in my opinion match the capabilities of paid software. While they might not come with all the random "extras" it's important to remember less is often more (and being open source more than...

The moment of truth ...MAC or PC?

Microsoft really wouldn't profit much (if at all) from your computer frying. Microsoft plays more in the software business and not so much in the hardware business (where your problem would lay). If you were to look deeper into the cause of the problem you could probably figure out what...

The moment of truth ...MAC or PC?

    HOT!
I'd just like to point out that you don't have to worry about viruses (as much) on a mac simply because it's such a small portion of the market. People who create viruses and distribute them want to cause as many problems for as many people as they can. The second that mac's actually take over...

The moment of truth ...MAC or PC?

    HOT!
Frankly, I prefer PC for the issue of software issues like you mentioned. On that token though, everyone I know that has a Mac seems to love it much more than a PC. One option (if you don't mind spending a couple hundred extra dollars) is buying a Mac and than dual booting with Vista or XP...

Thanks everyone and sorry it's taken so long to reply, been busy and any free time has been used to catch up on some sleep. haha @Baldrick - I've never heard of that. I'm definitely going to look into that in the next couple days @Sparlin - I think I'd aim it more towards teenagers and that...

Just curious what you guys think of this: www.tnlsoccer.com The tnl stands for "The Next Level" which obviously implies the continuous improvement in your game (once you understand what it means. I also think it's easy to remember\say and with "The Next Level" t-shirts and other products...

    10 Commandments of Wealth

@JScott - I heard a person say something that I really feel holds true - "1 hour in the morning is like 2 hours in the afternoon" - Really, my productivity for anything feels so much greater than any other time of the day.

Thanks a lot everyone! While there were none that I liked and were available they definitely gave me some ideas to try out. I'll definitely post back here once I figure out a name I want. Granted that could be half a year I take forever to get the "perfect" name (haha, jk although it could be...

Honestly, I'm not really sure what you mean by that. I looked up secondary markets but I didn't find anything that really cleared it up.
