    30 Days - No Job

    OFF-TOPIC
Edit: Nevermind I am finding out that I will have a lot more explaining to do than I wanted to. Trust me, it will all work out. ;)

    Rain, rain, go away . . .

    OFF-TOPIC
Russ how about you let me live in one of your B&B rooms for free until the cold leaves here. ;) Those temperatures would feel hot right now haha It's currently 10 and feeling like 2. Atleast it's an improvement! haha

@EastWind - Northern NY! Granted I'm less than 30 minutes from the border to Canada. haha @Bobo: Haha, exactly my though! Been planning a move over to Europe, more specifically England or possibly Spain. Still trying to figure that part out!

    Rain, rain, go away . . .

    OFF-TOPIC
Pfft, don't complain about the rain with those temperatures! I'm sitting here freezing my a$$ off in -2F and wind chill of -17. :P On that note though I get to go practice outside in this for a couple hours. :(

Why do we do it ?.......... WHY ?

I'd say it's more about allowing people to get to know and understand you better. Everyone here I've never met in real life so they don't know experiences I've had so when describing a situation it's necessary to add some background information. So wouldn't you guys agree that it has less to...

    Finding THE programmer

    WEB/DIGITAL
There is so much that can be said. The NUMBER 1 thing though is if they do it in their free time. As with most things a person who thoroughly enjoys an activity are (usually) the best. I personally wouldn't worry about a college education as long as they can provide old projects of theirs. I...

Using tech to promote your singing career

    WEB/DIGITAL
The first step is to establish yourself into the community that you want to be noticed in. For me, I'm going to become a professional soccer player, and naturally I'm constantly reading\posting on various soccer forums. I'd like to think in my time on these forums I'm a "respected" person now...

    Web Development Business - Steps?

    WEB/DIGITAL
I suppose I atleast owe everyone here a reply. Runum: Yeah, I realize what they were trying to do for me, but I don't feel like I need to be told something so elementary, you know? Honestly this was kind of like a "journal entry" if that makes sense. I kind of just needed to get what was in...

    Web Development Business - Steps?

    WEB/DIGITAL
I was wondering if anyone had information for like a checklist of things you should make sure you've done when setting up a business. I realize I elaborated more than I needed to a frankly I didn't really even need to specify that it was a web business. I posted this while I went on the...

    Web Development Business - Steps?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Quick summary: Due to some of my goals in life I need to be in a field of business that I can easily manage from anywhere. Because of this (and the potential it has) I've turned to the internet. I just need to take action so I've decided to start a web development business. This will allow...

    Generation Me

    MINDSET
Considering I'm a teen that grew up during this time I feel I'll give my input. While I agree with what NoMoneyDown says I don't agree with the stigma attached to it. I feel that growing up in a time that I am told I can do anything does more good for me than bad. Now, this is of course...

    The "Luck Struck" Progress Thread

    WEB/DIGITAL
I was thinking about this the other day! Something came up so I didn't have a chance to message you though. How come you've pulled back on the effort in promoting it? (If you don't mind answering)

    Opinions\Suggestion for An Idea

    IDEA
@Rasmus First, I'm not trying to debate on whether your opinions are correct, but I'm going to give a reason why it would be beneficial to each point (if there is one!). I figure perhaps there is something I just didn't mention or explain well enough. If this is not the case say so. #1...

    Opinions\Suggestion for An Idea

    IDEA
@Gymjunkie - Ahh thanks for posting that! I couldn't find anything that even looked remotely like it could be competition! Haven't had time to thoroughly look through it but I feel they are missing a few things that are vital (imo) for something to track workouts. @Caesarion - Tracking 1 max...

Anyone run an ice cream stand???

I don't have any experience, but I have friends that know people who own some. If you have any specific questions I could definitely try to get the questions passed along.

    Opinions\Suggestion for An Idea

    IDEA
I'm sorry MrPink I never saw your response! Adding a workout that you've done before a saved would quite litterally take 10 seconds to put into the program. Let's say you do a 1km swim every Monday. You'd enter the name of whatever you name it (it gives suggestions to workouts you've...

    Blogging based on keywords

    WEB/DIGITAL
If that's the route you want to go then I feel you care too much about traffic and not enough about helping people. Regardless of how great your site is in terms of SEO if you're not helping people it's pointless. Yes, lots of traffic could be great in potential advertisers eyes but that...

    Igniting the Fire Within

    MINDSET
I had a long post typed out but it didn't end up posting so I will just make a quick post to basically say the same thing: How to stay motivate? Go after something that you truly need to have\do - not want to have\do. You will never be able to get up every day and work on something that you...
