What are you up to now?

Ha, wish I would have saw this right before I posted here: http://www.thefastlanetomillions.com/progress-threads/22690-onemoregoal-progress-log.html#post136145 Planning (and starting) that + Lots of learning of frontend\backend programming for a that

    OneMoreGoal Progress Log

    EXECUTION
Figured I'd give this a bump since I have an idea I'm developing and not convincing myself it's a 'bad idea' within a week. I haven't re-read my old posts, but I know they were geared towards the area of sports\fitness like this one. I don't want to discuss the idea too much, yet...

    Newbie on board

Welcome man. Be weary of the attitude of paying for anything and everything. It's a sure fire way to be back at square 1. :smxB:

    College....i.s it worth it ?

It's worth what you put into it. If you only do what you're told then you're screwed. There is absolutely no reason to learn something just because "you'll get a good grade". If your 'college knowledge' in any subject ends where the teacher ends then it's worth nothing. The purpose of...

    WEB/DIGITAL
Call people. You have to make an effort, because until what you have to offer proves valuable for businesses no one is going to come looking for you.

    Breakthrough with Tony Robbins

    HOT! MINDSET
This has to be the type of advertising that will quickly be thrown upon us. Commercials are so easy to avoid with Tivo\Dvr\Torrents, that it's almost unacceptable. If the advertisement isn't unexpected, like during the show, then people will just avoid viewing it.

Easiest way to build a small website???

    WEB/DIGITAL
A lot of it has to see what he says is an "easy" website. Too many people fail to realize that all browsers don't render the code the same, leading to doing little hacks *cough*IE*cough*. Learning html\css might be overkill for them, but it really depends on what his vision for it looking like...

Thanks CorsePerVita! @Longview - Yeah, I meant with no prior agreement. For some reason once there is consent, or I suppose an expectation of finding something it gets kind of boring to me. Even though I have no intent of doing anything malicious if I found something wrong, the consent just...

Ew, that sucks.. The passwords were stored in plain-text or something? Honestly, if you have a more indepth idea of what happened I'm curious in hearing. I love to read up on vulnerabilities, and understand them. I wish it wasn't illegal to just test out vulnerabilities. I like fooling...

I found an article just going over a few very easy exploits to abuse for those who are developing their own websites. It's more of a primer to make you aware of these, but nonetheless good to at least know about: Web Security: Are You Part Of The Problem? - Smashing Magazine Some things on...

    OFF-TOPIC
^ It's ridiculous how 'powerful' the mind is for being able to create symptoms that aren't there. I had bad anxiety attacks when I was younger, and now that I don't it's funny to think how often they convinced me that I was sure I had everything known to man. Best of luck with this though man...

^haha Looks like neither of us will be changing our opinions on this! Things I feel strongly about I'm not great at just saying, oh well we think differently. I don't look to start a 'fight', but I do feel compelled to throw out my .02 cents. I will look up those 2 people at some point...

Nah, I'm not an active trader. What you said in this last post I agree. It is very important to look at peoples behaviors when something has occurred in the past. It's definitely very reasonable to assume it could take a dip again. Like I said though man, much of what you said in here it...

Tophera, what do you mean? What 'trap'? Correlation doesn't mean causation. The number of pirates have been declining over the years, and temperatures have, like you said, reached record highs. The fact that one occured, and then something else also occurred doesn't mean one caused the...

haha, too superstitious for me! :P I agree with almost all of what you say man, i.e. outside forces (like the moon\sunlight) effects peoples behaviors, record heat, and it's great to be aware. Why do you put the 'blame' on how planets are aligned though? If it makes you feel comfortable to...

    Help me escape...

Ynot, can you post an hour by hour schedule of your typical day? I find it hard to believe that you have no time unless you were to drop your job. Even an hour or two every day will make a significant impact. A laptop would allow you to work from anywhere also!

It's funny, as much as I disagree with certain aspects of school home school seems like a MUCH worse option than school. School is essential to development far past the curriculum. The social aspects of it, being forced to be around people almost every day of the week is very important to...

Ahh, my bad. Just curious what your point is for this then? I don't plan to debate it, just curious now. Never bad to hear another POV, you know?
