Google Instant - The end of SEO as we know it?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Not for ANY facebook member. But you could create something to get an alert for all profiles who have statuses on public. Actually there is something to search all public profiles statuses for key words, but it still wouldn't be an alert unless you create something to check for new ones and...

    Lucky or not Lucky?

It's a tricky question, because first does luck even exist? To just give my opinion though, I don't think luck does play a part, at all. You do things when you feel like you need to, even if that means forcing yourself to when you don't want to. There are plenty of times you do this and...

    Hello from UK

Welcome B, great intro Any idea what 'area of interest' you think you'll focus in? It's fine if not, but don't get caught up in seeing what everyone else is doing. It'll make you freeze instead of taking action trying to figure out the 'best'. (There isn't one)

Looking for E-commerce and E books tutor.

Don't worry about anything, but getting a place to sell your ebook for now. If you cannot sell the book, then an affiliate program is worthless. So here, do this, and report back once you have this set up: 1. Buy a domain (idk, you might have?) 2. Figure out how you want to sell it...

Definitely has to happen. Micro-managing on what can, and cannot be said (barring politics\religion) will screw it up. Micro-managing anything typically only leads to bad results.

Haha, trust me, I hear you Russ, and I'm long past my days of video games also. Let's just say at one point in a couple online games I was one of the few to have the max level in a certain mode, and once ranked in the top 10 of another. You can only imagine the amount of hours I put in for...

    Block buster

    OFF-TOPIC
I actually remember some article where it mentioned that Blockbuster had exclusive deals with some major film companies for 1month rentals before other places. What I find funny is I, nor anyone I know, had any idea of this. Certainly should have pushed out this more in their advertising.

    Facebook is the New Google

    WEB/DIGITAL
Certainly - it sucks because FB will always be the winner of that game. They have access to all public\private profiles so regardless winning that game would be impossible. How then, could someone create some type of platform which would encourage this *recommendation* system and have people...

"Fake it 'til you make it"

This may have made me realize one problem for me, when dealing with money in any way. It seems like once money is introduced at all I start to devalue what I have to offer. I don't know how to put it anymore than I think nothing I can do should be worthy of money. Ex: I refer to myself as...

Haha, pfft that's stressful? Try playing Hardcore Diablo 2. Die even once, you lose your character and everything on them. Then you'll see stressful. ;) </elitism>

    Facebook is the New Google

    WEB/DIGITAL
I know I sound like a broken record now, but I just want to keep putting this out there... How FB posts, and what not, weigh in terms of SEO needs to be completely different than that of the current model of Google. The internet up until recently has been based around information, and getting...

Set Up Niche Social Network - Advice on Promotion?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Well, there are two important things to address: -Why should people use your website? How is it going to benefit them to use it? -How is yours different than what is already out there?

Google Instant - The end of SEO as we know it?

    WEB/DIGITAL
"SEO (Search engine optimization) will change as well. Sites will need to optimize for particular letter combinations, not just entire keywords. It will be interesting to see whether results get spammed or if Google will gain the upperhand in this constant cat and mouse game." Let's be honest...

Google Instant - The end of SEO as we know it?

    WEB/DIGITAL
SEO for [niche] businesses has been on it's way out the door before this came about. Searches, and how they are determined will be broken down into at least two groups. 1. Information 2. Business (service) Group 1 is how search results are prioritized now. Anyone in this area has little...

    Hello from ny

Welcome! Like Bflbob, I'm wondering where at in NY? You say Upstate NY, do you mean ACTUAL upstate (atleast above Syracuse) or the 'upstate' people refer to meaning above NYC? like Bob apparently lol I live about 30 minutes north of Watertown, which is about an hour north of Syracuse...

Best investment for £100 ($150) ideas

    IDEA
Thanks man. Yeah, I'm excited to use it myself. Still haven't found a great way to enter in workouts without feeling like there is "too much going on". Very hard because of so many different considerations. I'm trying to make it excel at tracking 'unconventional' workouts too which nothing...

Best investment for £100 ($150) ideas

    IDEA
Sorry, idk why I decided to say web mark-up instead of HTML\CSS. Well, I do, but it's not a distinction that really matters. Out of curiosity did the sites actually sell for 300$ or just put up for that price? If so I may jump in there to get a bit of money to pay for a logo off of...

Best investment for £100 ($150) ideas

    IDEA
1 and 3 will take a LOT of time, to make any sort of reasonable profit from. Do you know much about web mark-up, or would you have to learn that during the process of these also? 2 - From what you've said, seems like the best choice for now. It'll be frustrating though. 4 - If you're...
