From falling down to establishing himself as a better player

    OFF-TOPIC
Didn't you tell rocksolid that you should give people second chances? Yet you admit you wouldn't... Or do you only mean high profile athletes? Anyway, yeah, I can definitely assume that, that could cause them to get back into their previous habits. I think it'd be interesting to see if...

    Randomly Testing Your Limits

    OFF-TOPIC
I'm just curious if others here have a fascination with seeing what they're personally capable of doing. One thing I hate is having a thought that I cannot do something, or even being told I can't do something. Because of this, I do a lot of things out of curiosity to see if I can... A...

From falling down to establishing himself as a better player

    OFF-TOPIC
I agree that he's a PoS, but why shouldn't he be allowed to play the sport? The idea of discriminating against people based on morals, thoughts, past choices, whatever disturbs me. If he did something to disturb the game of football, I could understand the idea of not letting him play, but...

Your take on Mobile applications future

    SAAS / APPS
Mobiles apps will always be around and continue to get more popular. It's a completely different concept from computers though. It's a realm of just 'quick fixes'. Twitter - Quick 140 character updates FB - Quick status updates, tells you when there is something, and since you know it's...

    What can I do?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Firstly 'Get In Shape' is way to vague. No one wants to get in shape. People want to lose weight, or fat. People want to run long distance. People want to build muscle. People don't want to get 'in shape'. Get in shape honestly means nothing, whether your into training, or someone wanting...

    Joomla question

    WEB/DIGITAL
Don't use a 'What you see is what you get' (WYSIWYG) editor like DreamWeaver. Just learn HTML\CSS for now. Honestly, if you can't get to an ok level with that, you probably shouldn't be messing around with Joomla, or anything server-side. Also, it's not really possible to answer your...

    Offering Website Dev Services

    MARKETPLACE
I've seen a lot of people posting "I can't" or "I don't know how" posts for creating websites recently as to why they can't start their idea. So I figured I could help get some peoples ideas off the ground. Feel free to PM me, or post here what you're interested in creating, and we can can...

Is NO too hard to understand?

    MINDSET
Being direct isn't rude, when someone is wasting your time. By not saying "I'm not interested" the first time, you give some hope of a sale. By not simply saying no, you're not only wasting your time, but his. At the point of coming back (using their time), and you finally saying you're not...

Apto Website Re-Design Review: BE BRUTAL

    WEB/DIGITAL
-In client area(login) make the "Remember Me" a label so you can click that to check the box. -Client login on home page is in an iframe and redirects to the client login area only in the IFrame if details are wrong causing problems -I'd remove the "Top Quality Gaurantee" and move the RSS...

    Making Web Sites

    WEB/DIGITAL
Honestly there is no 100% guarantee, unless you code it yourself, or review their code. Even if you remove their FTP account, and keep only yours it's very easy for anyone with a little coding experience to screw with it without needing a FTP account.. Want to see how easy it'd be? First a...

    Making Web Sites

    WEB/DIGITAL
To get started you don't need to know much about the internet. Tto do great things you will, but that comes with time. Understanding a lot of things on the web is just getting comfortable with technical names for easy concepts. Want to know what FTP is? It's essentially a thing in which you...

100 websites that make a couple bucks a day or more?

    WEB/DIGITAL
The effort required to manage that amount of websites, for that type of return (or increasing the return) wouldn't be worth the effort at all. I know people do\try to do that, but I really haven't heard many 'after' stories. Just the 'before' of starting to try it. No saying it's not...

A Groupon clone site? Need your opinions.

-Can you create a system, be it people, or with programming, that will allow people to do things without you needing to constantly monitor it? -Is this something a lot of people truly "need"\would use? If the answers are yes, then, yes it possibly is "Fastlane". Now, want to see if you...

Going corporate america or going entrepreneur after college?

    FTE
Why is it one or the other? Heck, you could spend even a few hours a night after a 9-5 working on something. If you truly don't want to work for others, then it won't be hard to motivate yourself. Otherwise failing to spend even a little bit every night on it will not have any negative...

The modern tech CEO: Barefoot and 21

It's annoying that you say this with a sense of superiority. The vast majority of the time I don't care about socializing. I'm not shy, I just don't enjoy it most of the time. If the time requires it I can, and do - but given an option without negative consequences most of the time I won't...
