    I usually pitch it as a commission basis at first. Just 10% of whatever comes through my efforts. Sent one guy 14 jobs including a $40,000 tree service job in just 2 weeks. At first he agreed to 10% on the phone, now all of a sudden he goes back on it saying "I dOn't WAnNa pAy FoR MarKeTinG".

    Lead gen oversaturated?

    Lead generation is definitely not oversaturated. I'd say the only thing that's truly over saturated is affiliate marketing...but even then you get some people who find obscure niches and make it work. At the end of the day it all comes down to mindset...I'd wonder what your friend would say...

    True...my only concern about just going the SEO route is that the clients could just drop you when they get ranked because they would think "Welp the job is done, why are we keeping him around anymore". Then that income is just gone... Alternatively that's why I like lead gen, you own income...
