    I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at but I just got back to Asia and my daughter doesn't understand time zones so I've been awake for a couple of days. I used to make well into the 6 figures with a cert way lower than a CCIE but it's not sustainable and it came with a required clearance...

    I hope you've got more than "some" networking experience if you have a CCIE. lol I don't think obtaining a cert from a company that has been losing market share to the east and having to compete against much cheaper eastern employees is a sure path to success.
