You also cannot build an enterprise overnight with all the money in the world. There are more than enough living examples (especially here on the forum) that will confirm that it is possible to start with almost 0. Freelancing is better than a job, right? So what's wrong with starting at one...

How hard do you try to solve issues?

    MINDSET
And this makes all the difference. Guys, picking up the phone and being friendly is not "going the extra mile". This is. Thanks for sharing @biophase - very inspiring. Action beats excuses, no matter what. Key is to keep this attitude as you grow "big" and not to forget about the small...

Yes, another 'is it worth it to learn copywriting?' thread

    MARKETING
I think you should try to answer some fundamental questions first. Think about: What is copywriting for you? What do you expect from copywriting? Why do you think you need to learn copywriting? What keeps you from getting started today? What can you do today to help somebody? What do you think...

@MJ DeMarco, thanks for your message. Sorry about this. I tried, but to change it I'd need access to this email address which I don't have anymore. In the setting it says that I need to request an account password first. Is there another solution to go about this?

Seeking Mentorship For Self-Discipline & Accountability

    HEALTH
You don't find a mentor. A mentor finds you. When? Whenever you are ready. This depends 100% on you. Stop looking, start doing. Look up @MJ DeMarco's butterfly metaphor. I will be the best "employee" you've ever had... I will be the best "girlfriend/boyfriend" you've ever had... I will...

I just got fired from my job (DAILY REMINDER)

    MINDSET
I had an appointment with the local finance authority a few days ago. On my way, I passed the local employment agency. While walking by, I over-heard a group of people in their late twenties with cigarettes lit and energy drink in their hands talking about how bad the current job market is -...

“The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof.” - Richard Bach The way people craft their words and publish them shows a whole lot about how they approach things in general. It...

Relevant Business Idea: Hack Free Phone

    IDEA
I'd buy one right away. So far I found these two options: Blackphone 2 The Light Phone At the expense of freedom, privacy and control. Sounds familiar - switched to a cheap one myself too, not so long ago. And it has two SIM slots, which is essential for me at this point. EDIT: links...

    It's too hard! I quit! I'm done!

I usually don't consume any news anymore. But a few days ago, I was browsing a local news website and saw the following headline (translated): "Study Reveals: 12-Hour-Workdays Are Unhealthy." I'd say, debts are unhealthy. Oh, and regret is too. Not everybody agrees though, I guess...

    Friday Night Glory

    MINDSET
It's 7:35 pm here and my phone was humming and buzzing all day from all the messages and updates of people planning their Friday Night Glory. I disconnected my phone from my Wifi to make the madness stop. Movie nights, club nights, dinner dates or just having the occasional...

Great reminder to start the new day, thanks @Scot. I'm boxing on the side, so I tell myself in weak moments: "Protect yourself at all times." Now, how you protect yourself is up to you. Maybe you are so fast they cannot reach you. Maybe you are such a good blocker that you don't fear their...
