    So ... who's in B2B?

    HOT!
And there lies my issue, i'm not an IT guy and all B2B people talk about is some form of software, although I know there is more traditional B2B around.

    So ... who's in B2B?

    HOT!
Agreed, in my role I notice quite a few areas where the company is running with old spreadsheets etc. There would be a much better software solution for this that would standardise the way the company does things. It's oil and gas with multiple operating plants, but how do you validate that they...

    So ... who's in B2B?

    HOT!
How did you guys find your B2B niches? Experience in the industry? I see 'needs / improvements' in my industry but not sure how to validate them, especially given potential conflict of interest.

    The Active Forex Traders Discussion

    HOT! INVESTING
Agree, the market was somewhat irrational given the rate cute. The AUD will definitely fall over the medium term period. Budget is out today and it will reveal a massive deficit, with no means to recover. Terms of trade are shot to pieces. Iron Ore will fall further, and potentially LNG. Also...

    The Active Forex Traders Discussion

    HOT! INVESTING
Hey just joined the thread...interesting last few posts. Anyway I am learning a little more in this area. I believe the AUD has a lot further to fall. It is odd how each time the reserve cuts rates the AUD actually spikes. I think it could be due to the sentiment from the RBA that the easing...

    I smell money. Do you?

I am already in contact with a few IT guys trying to suss out more info around this field, I mean what would you even charge for a service like this? One thing that may be a major stumbling block though is, most businesses probably outsource their web development anyway, including SEO. This...

    Tired of Scratched Sunglasses

So in the interest of being married to the problem (easily scratched polycarb sunnies) but not the solution, I am wondering if it more appealing to come up with a poly-carbonate that is inherently scratch resistant. It would need to be modified during the manufacturing process. Hard to do but I...

    I smell money. Do you?

This is where all the tech gurus / coders have a strong advantage! Then again I do have a bit of capital I can invest, maybe hire some IT guy and pay per completed site until proven, then pay per hour employee.

    Tired of Scratched Sunglasses

Yeh I heard numbers in the range of 75 million pairs of sunglasses or glasses....monstorous earnings!

    Tired of Scratched Sunglasses

True but most (have not fact checked) sunglasses are polycarbonate not glass. Anyway looks like an idea that probably wouldn't float....back to the drawing board. Great discussion though.

    Tired of Scratched Sunglasses

I wonder if this refers to the scratch resistant coating that is put in when most glasses are manufactured or an aftermarket type that I imagine would be useful, or more marketable.

    Tired of Scratched Sunglasses

No doubt little emphasis is put on making products more durable...especially when people willingly put up with damage and pay hundreds

    Tired of Scratched Sunglasses

Probably would but is clunky, and prone to coming off I'd say. An easier more permanent solution would be better, like a solution sprayed or dropped onto the lens.

    Tired of Scratched Sunglasses

Thanks NinjaKid agree with your requirement. It needs to be barely noticeable visually It needs to have negligible interference with the optics of the lens (light diffusion, polarization etc) It can't damage the lens It must add a noticeable level of protection to the lens (ie. it must work) It...

    Tired of Scratched Sunglasses

You buy a pair of $200+ sunglasses and before you know the lenses are scratched, abraded....no coverage by Oakley and the likes. Replacement lenses are $100+. Why not a coating that is upsold for like $30 when someone purchases a pair of expensive sunglasses that reduces (probably no feasible...

Go swimming with Whale Sharks, and or snorkelling/diving Ningaloo reef in Western Australia. A lot more pristine than the Great Barrier, less touristy. In saying that the North QLD area around Port Douglas is beautiful for rainforests etc. Lots of outdoor wilderness type stuff depending on what...
