    The double follow up email

    MARKETING
I get the emails... the customer doesn’t... though tbh I’ve never tested it from the recipients point of view but it wouldn’t make sense to email them. I’d be lost without Bananatag!

The Big Dating Apps Are Alienating Their Stakeholders

    HOT!
Had an idea for a new twist in this... after spotting a common complaint from female users ... but it’s the perfect example of chicken and egg... and by the time you’d build an audience which is a huge job in itself, the big players would have ripped you off! its a tough nut to crack! My mate...

Is this a good need or want for the public?

Cool idea But there’s a catch: every report I’ve read shows that online forums especially anonymous ones only confirm people’s pre-existing ideas and biases... And the web truly has become the province of the troll as you can see from America’s ferocious battle to save its soul, and it’s...

Producing a Board Game 0-100 (Product dev, Crowd sourcing, Ecommerce, Ads)

    HOT! SOURCING EXECUTION
Been following this with interest as I plan on making my own Board Game next year. Have to crack these bloody apps first! :bicep: Quick thought: I wonder could you base the rules on another game so you would have a niche userbase to target immediately and who could hit the ground running...

Great speech about Covid from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Berlin

Opinions are fine and to be welcomed... but they are not Facts... The facts are not in dispute unless you have allowed your ideology, ego or religious belief to cloud your judgement.... Look up the US death rate... nearly 200'000 dead, multiples of the flu and Winter is coming. This is a...

    Soft Proving an App Concept

    EXECUTION
Hi Zane, I'm also wondering the same thing. I'm an indie app dev. though there are some professional software dev's on here so I hope they'll provide some answers. We've tried a landing page and running people to it via FB ads etc... though likes and shares doesn't mean they'll part with cash...

So, I Have 1000€ to Invest + Some Skills: Thinking of Attempting Dropshipping

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE
$1000 was all I had left in my bank account too after my first painful lesson in the business world... Never hand over the full payment until you have the product, even if its a friend! With 1k I thought I'd jump in to the Emoji app craze as the Kardassian emoji app had made 1 million in its...

What Are The Worst Mistakes You've Done In Your Entrepreneurial Journey?

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
Terrific Post. I will confess I started my journey 5 years ago with just enough money to fund an MVP for my first app, a tourist networking app for AirBnB users, and buy an engagement ring. A year later I was living alone in a tiny studio with no money, no app and no fiancée and in very poor...

What Are The Worst Mistakes You've Done In Your Entrepreneurial Journey?

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
Honestly if I could talk to my younger employee self I’d say embrace the book “How to win friends and influence people” and learn the art of office politics (social/sexual networking) to perfection. I’ve always had a Star Trek (Picard) level of integrity and have never been able to suck up to...

Apple to lose Control of App Store?

    HOT!
As an trainee Entrepreneur who makes apps I'm in awe of this as it only benefits me and my fledgling business, but as a Consumer I'm extremely concerned... as both App Stores (iOS/Google Play) both charging the exact same 30% Commission is not Competition! I just came up with a simple but very...

    Thoughts on the Facebook MarketPlace

    MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
Was it a play on the Apple monopoly debate thread? Where it doesn’t fit the specific definition but in reality it mostly is... we call this a cartel in Ireland but Oligopolists is a terrific term!:
