Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATYes, absolutely true. I once read somwhere online a post saying something along the lines of: I could show you a pencil and draw a smiley on it and give it the name Fred (or something else). If I then break that pencil in front of you, you will feel a little ping of sadness. Empathy is one of...- Supa

Fastlane Opportunities for Writers
HOT! IDEAYeah. One should not forget that what AI (currently) is trained on, is the work of humans. It‘s been fed information that initially was written by humans. So it’s basically knowledge it learned by what people have shared. At least that‘s the case for now with large language models like ChatGPT...- Supa

Fastlane Opportunities for Writers
HOT! IDEAI think AI will never replace great writers like Stephen King and Brandon Sanderson, when it comes to novels, as well as great personalities who write non-ficton books and articles, like MJ, Mark Manson and others specialising on a specific topic and building a following around their person...- Supa

Mental Health, Depression, ADD Discussion Thread
NOTABLE! CHATYeah, Germany also has this fixation on beer. What to many in the US is their Whiskey, here it‘s beer. Many drink a bottle or more after work. And like you said, at restaurants, it‘s typical as well to see many glasses with beer. Not drinking beer, especially at specific occasions like...- Supa

Mental Health, Depression, ADD Discussion Thread
NOTABLE! CHATAndrew Huberman did a fantastic video podcast with Dr. Richard Schwartz, the founder of Internal Family Systems (IFS), just 2 weeks ago. HOT! RANTSo, she deserved a horrible life threatening crash for what? For being on OnlyFans? That's so F*cking wrong to say. Oh, the double standard of trying to act morally right while being disgustingly immoral.- Supa

A New Path to the Fastlane - App Development
EXECUTIONYes, there are quite some things to consider, and even trying to get an Array of the current week is quite the task. But that's part of the process and I actually enjoy it, even if it can be really frustrating at times. But once it clicks and you get it to work, is a fantastic feeling :) Thank...- Supa

A New Path to the Fastlane - App Development
EXECUTIONA little update The app is coming along great. Currently I'm struggling a bit with the topic of date calculations, as this is quite complex. But with the help of some YouTube tutorials as well as AI (especially Claude) I'm slowly understanding it. I've got quite a bit done already, and got the...- Supa

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATDefinitely. I am absolutely not pro EVs, at least not in their current state. The idea of EVs is fantastic. But the way they are currently made is far from great and, like you said, even harming nature. Someone manufacturing an actual green car that can drive as long as a fuel-based one, that...- Supa

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATMost of them are also seemingly completely unaware of the irony of what they do. Talking about birds getting killed and materials coming from China, in posts and comments, that they write on their iPhone, that is partly made in China, while probably sitting in a KFC waiting for their crispy...- Supa

HOT! CHATI get that. I also tried to keep it more about the EU in general, rather than specific political views. But yeah, if that already crossed the line, my fault. True. In addition to all the points you mention, I don't understand the hate from many people for natural power sources, like water...- Supa

HOT! CHATI'll try to answer this without getting into political discussions... "Save the planet" - what's wrong about trying to preserve the resources of the spinning globe we all live on, instead of F*cking that whole thing up. Aside from this, most countries do something about the environment, not...- Supa

HOT! CHATThe EU is a mix of so many different countries, all with their different politics, beliefs and culture. The EU in general is absolutely not woke or green in my opinion. Other than in the US most EU countries are not simply divided into two sides: left and right. Most EU countries have several...- Supa

The "$1K A Day" Test - Do You Have a Scale Problem?
GOLD! EXECUTIONAwesome post, thank you MJ! I just made the $1k calculation for the app I'm currently working on. At $3.99 for the monthly subscription, that I currently plan, minus the percent that Apple gets from that, this would mean around 360 new subscribers in one day to make $1k. And around 10,000...- Supa
