Producing a Board Game 0-100 (Product dev, Crowd sourcing, Ecommerce, Ads)

    HOT! SOURCING EXECUTION
The only time I get on tabletop is when my friends, that all live in separate cities now, decide to get on and play. If my group was one that was interested in buying this game we would never test it since we live so far apart. Just a different perspective. If the board game takes off, nothing...

    Parents own me, any advice?

    PEOPLE
If the second option: stay in Uni and get a job....then I would do that. If being under your parents bothers you enough to post about then it is probably worth doing the extra work to have a job and still attend school. Build up a few months living expenses as a cushion and practice budgeting to...

    Parents own me, any advice?

    PEOPLE
I'm not quite clear on what you are asking. Is it: 1.Should you quit university and start working for yourself right now and get out from under your parents? OR 2. Should you stay in University, but also get a job/side hustle so you can get out from under their control?

Great episode, being married myself there were some spots that made me chuckle. 1. When she starts going down the path how Gov. use to just be there and wasn't good/bad and had an awakening- out loud I say to myself, "well of course, she is married to @Kak". It brought back the little things in...

Buying a domain that is owned by broker

The whois from Google showed godaddy. Did a different search and came up with a company from Meza, AZ (awareness corp). I actually found the owners name. They are not using the domain, just holding it.

How much money I can ask for a facebook group of ~10k users?

Look up notes about "never split the difference " and when you have more time it is a great read/listen for negotiating everything. Try to do some research on what groups are selling for to get a range for your size, google it -Ask them what number they are thinking of and do not give a...

Buying a domain that is owned by broker

Seems I am out of luck for now. Domain isn't huge on the priority list atm, just thought if I could get it cheap I would.

Buying a domain that is owned by broker

So I have gone through and bought a domain before. The first showed expired and I waited for it to get listed and bought it. There is another .com I am trying to get where godaddy.com, LLC is the registrar, but the site isn't for sale. On the website they have the broker option to " get in...

Creating apps for IOS and Android

I do not know anything about coding, but came across pwa style apps vs native. Not sure the full capabilities for games, but I know there are some games made this way. Seamless interface and other bonuses. When I need an app for my product, this is the way I'm going.

Living on your own VS living with high performers?

    MINDSET
I say go for it. As long as that spare bedroom isn't actually the common room and they are just letting you crash because they feel bad.... and you don't become the peg boy... Seriously though, don't sign a long term contract incase you want to bounce.

Sounds like you need to document in more detail everything expressed here and look into the possibilities of creating a course or writing a book for customer service reps. Go into these big corporate environments "teaching" Tony Robbins/Jocko Willink style.

An alternative to testing in person. If you have a friend who can do some basic coding, or whatever it would take on steam, there is a game called tabletop simulator. Pretty much any popular games get ripped off and created on there for people to play. Catan, monopoly, uno, poker, plus a lot in...

How do you allocate your income?

    INVESTING
I do similar to @PizzaOnTheRoof with multiple accounts. I should have just drawn a diagram as this is long... First I did a budget to get close to an average $ amount or % for your categories that is needed each month. My wife's job pretty much pays for the bills besides a few things here and...

    Stop Wasting Your Life

    MINDSET
When I met my in-laws neighbor before my son was born I was discussing my work situation and how I probably need to get out of it once he is born (away from home over half the year). He gave me this quote to repeat and pretty much let the conversation end on it. "How I see myself, is what I get"

How do i improve my communication skills?

    HOT! MINDSET
An internship or any starting position means you have very little to no skills. One part I liked about getting the interview turned into a conversation by @Andy Black is that you need to know what they will do for you. If the person giving the interview is a potential mentor then you need to...
