    I'd have to assume that less competition would make certain aspects significantly easier. You also stated that you are a beginner which would imply little to no experience. Some competition is healthy, while too much will bury you.

    No. Absolutely not. lol ;) If I buy anything it will $5,000 or under. These are the only types of vehicles I will drive until I can properly afford $150,000+ vehicles. Anything in the middle (BMW, Mercedes, Audi) just isn't special enough for me. I'd rather wait it out.

    I've grown up around cars with my cousins so I can't say that I don't care about cars because I do. However, I do agree with your points and will not buy anything above a civic until I can truly afford something special to me.
