Vegan / Vegetarians Only (Chat about lifestyle, opportunities, food, whatever...)

    NOTABLE!
To contribute to the thread more aligned with the topic, does anyone grow their own greens at the house? I just got some stuff to test a few methods of growing microgreens without soil and once I experiment more I'll do baby greens like lettuce, spinach, kale, mustard, etc.

Edit: I just saw your post MJ, but I do really want to know vegans opinions on this. I love eating healthy and anything I can eat that is natural (deer, ducks, pheasants, fish, etc) I try to do. I really do not care about people's lifestyle choices as long as it doesn't directly affect me or...

Opinion: Skipping college is not going to make you fastlane

    HOT!
I think people also take out loans for living expenses. 10 to $20,000 extra a year on top of tuition adds up quick. There is no regulation that I am aware, at least enforcement, on what the loans are used for. I have heard of people using it for furniture and to decorate their college dorms...

TiK ToK ban. Where will those influencers go?

    MARKETING
I saw this come out on the news before Trump got involved. The kid has 20mil followers on tik too, looks like they are creating another platform and the builders hired him or he was part of it from the start...

3k in tuition for a whole year isn't going to make a huge difference. The main thing is cost of living like I said. Engineering degree cost for CU https://www.colorado.edu/bursar/costs/fallspring-costs/undergraduate-colorado-resident/engineering Tuition is stated at 14k compared to the 11k I...

2020 resolution: No drinking alcohol for a year.

    HEALTH
My best friend did the same thing years ago for over 1 1/2 yrs and it worked out really well for him, especially for the environment he was in at the time. I think the only reason he started backup is because he finally wanted to have a beer and had moved away from the old work environment...

Is this Colorado? Tuition is not far off on many of these between the states. The only thing that really changes is cost of living for the area you are in. That could vary greatly and has to do with what someone is willing to deal with and which specific college someone chooses. Example: US...

If I could convince my wife we would be there or Costa Rica. I don't think my chances are high on that front besides maybe getting a vacation rental if the market is good.

I'm all for freedom of religion and am religious, but never understood why people have to hate other people with different few points. True...parents always know best right? Haha For someone not 100% sure on college @Envision comment is a great middle ground. As he saw value later on after working and starting businesses he cashflowed his way through with a purpose.

So a thread title means everything? Sorry my copy sucks. Where does it say college will make you fastlane? When your only response to an open ended question is pointed towards me personally and whether or not I have a million in net worth. How is that helpful to the discussion? That is why I...

It is going to be a personal decision for everyone on whether it is the best decision or not. I guess I am biased as well because most of my college friends didn't really have any debt. We either had scholarships, worked to pay it off as we attended, or both. A good local state college isn't...
