    Arbitrage as digital nomad

    MINDSET
We do offshore corporate services in Anguilla, Belize, Seychelles and a couple of others. Anguilla is best for 95% of people. We don't recommend Panama at all although my biz partner lives there and we do a lot of business there. You can still own UK property and company shares. No issue...

Not really. You just need to know how to structure your life and your business. You don't need to live in the Caribbean to pull it off.

For Americans, it is not that difficult. The simple answer is to qualify for the FEIE (foreign earned income exclusion of about $100k + about $50k in housing allowance), you need to be either out of the US 330 days per year or establish residency in a foreign country and you can be out of the...

Mad props for following through with it. And I know for a fact you do not now, nor ever will regret it. I bet it has already changed your worldview. Thanks again. I hope something we discussed was at least a little useful.

According to the cpas we work with, as long as you file properly there is zero increase in audit risk. As for filings. You need to file is you have more than usd10k in aggregate in foreign accounts. Nothing complicated though.

This is a pretty vague question so I'll do my best. If you have a more specific question fire away. For me personally, I have a couple of businesses already: US domestic corporate services (registering LLC's) Offshore corporate services (registered IBC/LLC's) Offshore trust and fiduciary...

You are overly concerned about this. It is an irrational fear to be honest. First of all, Estonia is in the EU. It's no different than transacting with a company in Germany, Czech Republic, or Finland. TFEU (treaty of the functioning of the european union) expressly permits cross border...

Thanks Bila. I am well aware that we are not "mainstream" in our views and what we write about. We are trying to get our readers to see a different viewpoint, agree or not. People never learn when they continue to read viewspoints perfectly aligned with their own.

She is getting $18,000 gross income per year on a $300,000 house. Is that really winning? Deck contractor definitely wins. Tenants and roof guy are definite winners. Tenants are paying $18,000 on a $300,000 house. That money would barely rent them a decent 2-3 br apartment. The issue...

Where in Europe is best value for an extended vacation?

    OFF-TOPIC
I completely disagree. Great food (esp if you like seafood), great wine, laid back atmosphere, nice weather, nearby beaches and cheap to live.

No one is an appreciating rent market forever. As for property type. The only thing that really matters is net cash yield (imo). It sounds like a good idea that multifamily and storage would bring more cash, but not if re buyers have driven up prices. Always look for the value. That's...

Side note. One of the most successful real estate investors I know in the US owns over 400 units (some apartments, some homes). He rents his residence. I would not call him stupid for wasting rent money. He knows a hell of a lot more than me about the subject.

    Do you rent or own?

Again, this is closed-minded thinking. If you can make money from single family homes, why limit yourself? I personally own a few single-family properties. You can see my thread here about the topic...

Not necessarily. Imagine you are 27 years old earning $65,000 per year at your job. You "own" your own $200,000 home with $30,000 equity. You pay a mortgage of about $800/m, of which about $570 is direct profit to your bank in the form of interest. Of course you are getting to deduct the...

Technically even without a mortgage you dont own. Disagree? Stop paying property tax and you'll find out who really owns.
