This book pays you to read it!

Definitely. If anything's helped with sales/cold approaches for me, it was centering the attention on the person you are speaking to. Little tip I've learned is to play a bit of "hot potato". If you reveal an important detail about yourself or your product/service, now is your turn to ask an...

Should I Use Wordpress Or Learn How To Code To Make a Website?

    IDEA
Yes for blogs Hugo and Hexo are good frameworks to use. WordPress will never outperform "hand-coded" sites so if you are willing to get comfortable with a few programming languages, your site's search engine placement, traffic and client retention will benefit. I use a moderately priced laptop...

Thoughts on changing your NAME (and IDENTITY)? Both the first AND the last!!

    HOT! MINDSET
No problem. I understand what you are stating. Given the limited context of the discussion topic, I'll refrain from further replies.

Thoughts on changing your NAME (and IDENTITY)? Both the first AND the last!!

    HOT! MINDSET
Very childish reasoning considering your initial post. Don't understand why you'd waste people's time and suggestions for the sake of amusement.

Thoughts on changing your NAME (and IDENTITY)? Both the first AND the last!!

    HOT! MINDSET
Might be onto something. I know some people like this who not only use fake names but also other identities besides their own. They will commonly use several different aliases when meeting new people. Always has been some really damaged people mentally that go to these lengths to obscure who...

Thoughts on changing your NAME (and IDENTITY)? Both the first AND the last!!

    HOT! MINDSET
I understand what you meant now and that you wouldn't want to associate with the culture by name. Though there isn't much that has changed from what you've described. These same values and traditions are made into societal norms. Many people in the US (I believe you mentioned that you currently...

Moved across the country alone and living in a car. Update thread until stability

    HOT! MINDSET EXECUTION
Looks to be a nice place by the Rocky Mountains. Since living in the rust belt of the US for a couple decades, can't help but picture Utah as this:

Thoughts on changing your NAME (and IDENTITY)? Both the first AND the last!!

    HOT! MINDSET
No it is not a good idea for what you are trying to achieve. You value the culture and heritage your last name represents but are willing to give that up just to evade the judgement of others for what you've done in the past. Why do you think this is worth giving up to avoid the ridicule of...

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Watching YouTube Business Videos Is A Waste Of Time

    SOCIAL MEDIA RANT
Almost like you are living through the people you watch. You get the gratification without the experience.

Bookkeeping or Coding to reach my goal.

    SIDE HUSTLE
If you don't want to waste time, use the programming skills you have available to you and start solving problems for people around you. Whether you know how to code or not does not matter. Programming is just a tool that you can put to practice on the fly when relevant to the problem. I can't...

YOUR SYSTEM is more important than your EFFORT.

    GOLD! HOT! EXECUTION NEWSLETTER
What large corporation would you suggest to get a handle on the 3 systems? Or more specifically what large corporation would be ideal to exercise these 3 systems in a position offered by the company?

The best things to study in University

    HOT! MINDSET
Skip CS if you are considering the tech route. A lot of theoretical nonsense that will not be applicable outside the classroom. There's no advantage to learning CS to better your understanding of AI outside of machine learning.

    Losers will never win

    MINDSET
It depends on the person. You are right to say you cannot change anyone else. That is the responsibility of the person to whether they will make that change. However some people aren't aware that their actions are counterproductive to their goals. It is helpful to be held accountable and by the...

That is some good advice. Having a friend call me out on excuses while I was younger would have given me some perspective I'd now appreciate. Good looking out for your peers.

I Created A Videogame Based On The UNSCRIPTED Book [Fan Project]

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
That's really cool! The retro style is very fitting. I don't often find games to be enjoyable, but this looks to be shaping up into something promising. Corporate bad guys' dialogue and cinematic is setting the tone.

    HOT! HEALTH
Awesome. I know what you mean when you look to processed carbs as inedible. It's strange to think how someone could find them palatable after a few months without them. I don't have much experience with nicotine past childhood, but like many other highly-stimulating consumables it is a tough...

Young fastlaners: SHUT DOWN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA

    GOLD! HOT!
Great advice. YouTube has taken its toll on my brain being apart of my daily schedule for years. I doubt it will reach its full potential again but something is still kicking up there.
