Facebook Ads Gurus, can I get your input.

    MARKETING
Yes, I've been tracking with the FB conversion pixel. I'll go the method you recommended and also tighten my audience interests. In your experience, what kind of CTR's are you used to? And once you pegged good CTRs+conversions did you just scale up balls-to-the-wall on that ad?

Facebook Ads Gurus, can I get your input.

    MARKETING
Thanks for the reply Jason. I figured the more variations I threw out there, the more likely I would get bites. But what you said makes perfect sense, especially since I'm not generating revenue. If I understand you more analytically, testing an (ad pic)+(ad copy)+(LP) combo requires "Y"...

Facebook Ads Gurus, can I get your input.

    MARKETING
I've been driving forward with FB ads to validate an idea by capturing leads for a "Coming Soon" page. So far I'm not having much success. I've already been actively optimizing the ads and LP copy to have a clear CTA and sense of urgency. And PLENTY of split testing. 5 copy variations and 10...

    LeadPages.com vs QuickMVP?

    WEB/DIGITAL
instapage Pretty much the same as Unbounce at a fraction of the price. Leadpages is aimed mainly at info products. Sucks for physical products. And the interface is very restricted.

I have years of 3d modelling experience in aerospace and nuclear applications. I don't care how much experience your guy has, at $2k your probably getting hosed. Also, any half-decent 3d modelling software has photo realistic rendering...

Sometimes it's worth just keeping quiet

    HOT!
Why? Two slowlaners get married. Then one day you have a revelation and decide to enter the fastlane. Just because you have had a revelation doesn't mean your spouse has one too. The slowlane mantras have been ingrained in her head her entire life. It's all she knows and all she understands. Of...

Facebook Ad Cliff Notes - What Are They

    MARKETING
I`m using instapage right now and the ease of split testing is why I don`t do custom coded pages any more.

Facebook Ad Cliff Notes - What Are They

    MARKETING
Are you guys split testing landers as well? Seems to me like optimizing your LP is as important, if not more important, than you creative? The creative grabs attention, but the LP drives your sell.

Are you using a special business account with a shipper? If so, what were the requirements? does a truck come to your door or do you have to drop off the boxes somewhere?

See, this makes sense if you live in the US. But the added cost of shipping from Canada, plus additional customs BS the client may endure, is a complete turn off. Just because you check off the "charge duties to shipper" box doesn't mean it always happens. This makes you look like an a$$ to your...

If you do your due diligence, you'll see that Shipwire is an utter disaster. Try xpert fullfillment. They have decent reviews and are based in Michigan so if you ship goods from Ontario to them it would be pretty cheap.

I tried leadpages. My problem with it is that most of the templates are for capturing leads or giving away e-books. There's hardly anything for actual physical products.

One of your ads popped up in my facebook feed, I made sure to like it! Are you seeing success with the 'ad-->cart' method rather than the typical 'ad-->landing page--> cart' method?

Kevin O'Leary.. You have to love him

    OFF-TOPIC
The O'leary Lang Exchange was an awesome show. Lang is the only person that knows how to handle O'leary with composure. And if you don't think both individuals were equally annoying in this video, then please get off O'leary's nutsack.

    Tradesmen in the Fastlane

    NOTABLE! EXECUTION
A RESOUNDING YES! I know a couple of millionaire tradesmen, one in HVAC and the other in exterior siding. They both have the same story. They got tired of working for someone else and started their own trade businesses. They leveraged the relationships they built with builders during their...
