What Little Site or Program Makes Your Life Easier?

I went on a mastermind trip with some top marketers to Costa Rica last year and one of the the things we did was a roundtable of little sites and programs we used all the time that make our lives easier. Share here what you use on a regular basis. Here are 2 to get things going: -...

Problem with employees learning my trade and leaving

I think yoou need to think like McDonalds does. Turnover is going to be high and the only way to combat that is with dummy-proof training systems. You might consider doing videos instead of printed manuals. Videos are actually quicker to do and can demonstrate techniques way better than manuals.

What does MONEY mean to you?

For me it's a way to keep score. When someone I don't know gives me money it proves that I understand their wants and that's the only thing business is about.

Small E-business to accelerate bigger progress in background

    WEB/DIGITAL
My suggestion would be to go to www.flippa.com and search over there for sites for sale. What you will find is that by studying what people have sold and selling similar simple sites $300 a month should be no issue. The only cost up front is a domain name $10 and web hosting less than $5. Most...

Slicehost | Story From Beginning to Sell

That was an awesome video. I loved the line in vid 3 where someone pulled the guy aside and said you aren't thinking of quitting. The idea hadn't even occurred to him and that day he resigned. So James how do you think you'd react to selling your baby to a big company?

    Question about SEO and domains\keywords

    WEB/DIGITAL
Absolutely, in my experience I have repeatedly killed sites with years of age when I get a domain name that has the keywords in the domain. It seems to work just as well with com net or org although obviously you want com if you can get it. Also I've seen domain names with dashes also do very...

Web site for a Brick and mortor Biz

    WEB/DIGITAL
This is exactly what I was saying above. For the nay sayers that think this is dangerous I can only speak from my own experience. I own disneyworldaddress.com, disneylandaddress.com disneyaddress.com and disneyweather.com all interlinked, all on the same sever, and all registered with the same...

It just rained and I'm spinning out?

Well I admire your skills but I've seen what you've experienced, great looking site that technically put the off the shelf stuff to shame but without the traffic and the buyers it might as well not have been there. Good luck.

Web site for a Brick and mortor Biz

    WEB/DIGITAL
Yes you can, set up blogs on those sites and either write articles related to the word or outsource them. Have a banner link on each one of the sites pointing back to your money site. Update the blogs with fresh articles and each one will start to rank for it's own phrase and send link juice...

It just rained and I'm spinning out?

Yet I'm willing to bet by the time it took you to respond that you spent no time digging through clickbank or odesk. Will you find the right answer on either of those place? Hell if I know but it's at least a place to start. Also by the fact that you ask for help but have never handed out a...

    Help name that seminar!

Gotch yah. What I would like to see are some concrete examples and I bet you've got them like reduce the amount of time reading email by 20%. That's something I can wrap my head around more than get organized. Maybe that's just me.

It just rained and I'm spinning out?

Small project is creating an info product like those sold on clickbank? Did you go there and take a look at what's being sold there? Is there anything you could do there to generate a little money you could roll into the next project? Have you thought about breaking down ideas requiring...

    Help name that seminar!

Good stuff but feels a little too general for me. Organized, motivated and energy are all hard things for me to quantify. When you develop material is the there a specific person you are communicating with, your typical customer?

It just rained and I'm spinning out?

True but no one says you actually have to do the scripting. Pick a small project and get it going - outsource what you can't do at a site like http://www.odesk.com. Take the money from that and roll it into the next project and snowball just get's bigger and bigger. Also if any of your ideas can...

It just rained and I'm spinning out?

So let me throw something out there that might get you to think about products slightly different. From what I read you are thinking of products in the old manufacturing age view of products. What you might do is shift your focus from products being things sold at walmart to products being...
