    need some advise from millionaires......

    MINDSET
Not a millionaire yet well on my way. Read or re-read MJ's book. If you put the money and time you'd spend on med school into a business that meets the goals of the book then you'll bank a lot more per year than being a Dr. Plus have time to enjoy it - just my opinion.

Why Are There So Few Women Here?

Here's my $0.02 on this, I think men's identities are their jobs. The first question most guys will ask another guy is "So what do you do" were as with women it might be "do you have any kids". I think you can see this in women when the last kid leaves home. They question who they are and what...

[Poll] Can Video Games Be A Training Ground for Entrepreneurs?

I do agree that on a whole most people will never see any benefit from playing games. That percentage probably is just a reflection anything society does as a whole.

[Poll] Can Video Games Be A Training Ground for Entrepreneurs?

I have a theory... That games (especially first person shooter games) are a good training ground for biz skills. There are several things I about games that I believe help develop skills that lend themselves to Entrepreneurs: - They teach you to think out of the box. In my experience the...

Why Are There So Few Women Here?

After perusing the post this morning the question occurred to me... "Why are there so few women here" Now I know there are some ladies here kicking biz butt but statistically my gut says that most of the active members here are guys. So what's your guess as to why there are so few ladies here?

Website purchased on Filppa, Goolge Panda update DE-INDEXED it!

    WEB/DIGITAL
I checked out the site and there is very little content there. It even looks like all the pages listed on the flippa details aren't there any more.

Website purchased on Filppa, Goolge Panda update DE-INDEXED it!

    WEB/DIGITAL
The developer must have been doing some really shady link building stuff behind the scenes. I'd be mad as hell if I had bought it.

    Hello to all

Welcome on board. I've also started things on eBay but for the things that have done well there I've found that moving the business off of eBay increased the amount you can charge for the same item. Good luck.

    Hello Fastlaners - from Sydney

Welcome on board, what stereotype about Australia do people get wrong? I'm from Texas and everybody thinks we're all cowboys. I hate country music, never owned a pair of cowboy boots or had a cowboy hat.

Why does everyone love Think and Grow Rich

    HOT!
You know this thread is funny because I thought I was the only person that thought this book was completely forgettable. I find it so ironic that Napoleon Hill died pretty close to penniless. I mean really, what does this say about how well his doctrine works?

    PROGRESS THREAD (James F)

    EXECUTION
As a wrap-up to this I'd love to hear a little about how you approached your competitors to sell and the negotiation process. My bet is there is some really valuable insights forum members could learn from.

I feel superior towards certain people...

    OFF-TOPIC
I'm late to this conversation but here's my thought about the guys that aren't living up to their expectations - MJ says there are 2 types of people in the world Producers & Consumers. In my opinion those consumers make it possible for you to be a producer. Might be a bad way to look at thing...

    Healthcare fastlane business Idea

    IDEA
My opinion is if people want to pirate it they will buy one and then screen capture all your content. Adding a unique code to learn how to use the product simply restricts potential buyers from viewing all the great training material you've made. Remember KISS and don't add any extra barriers to...

    I need your Advice..

James I like the way you're thinking. You're ideas sound really interest. I predominately use oDesk and when you find the right person it works really well. I can see pros and cons to the system but it certainly is a balancing act trying to keep service providers and customers happy. Let me ask...

    E-Commerce platform for website

I have to agree with James F, PayPal is the way to go. PayPal gets a lot of grief and I certainly don't say they're perfect but when you deal with as many customers as they do you aren't going to make everyone happy. PayPal is easy to use and start taking payments quickly not to mention trusted...

Seriously, is this what you have to do on this forum to get a lot of responses LOL. Dang and all this time I thought all you had to do was post a good idea or some info that was useful or ask an intelligent question - dang I feel like such a dork :smx4:

Good luck on your quest. Opportunity is everywhere, once you've trained yourself to see it the problem becomes trying to stay focused on only the best ones. There is so much good info here and on other sites. Also MJ's book really contains everything someone needs to be successful.
