On the road to true wealth.

Welcome to the board and congrats on the little one. I understand the issue with too many ideas. So her's what I do when I have the issue: - 1st decide which ones you could see yourself involved with for a long time. Now don't mistaken being involved with, with actually being in love with the...

What do You Wish You Knew 10 Years Ago That You Know Know?

Got to agree as I look at the 401k scam. I was good little sheeple like everyone and I haven't done as bad as some but what they tell everyone is smoke and mirrors.

What is the legal way of putting images on your website?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Probably not, best to buy stock images from sites like istock.com especially if your site is at all commercial in nature. You can also look for free images that are public domain or allowed for use under the creative commons license. Do a search on google for any of these terms to get more details

    Good Video Review of Google+

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKhheto4L6k&feature=youtu.be I got on-board Google+ today thanks to CMCarlin‎ and I like it. It's very intuitive and combines the best of Twitter and Facebook. For the nay-sayers that just want to try and find the flaws I say "Use something else and bury your...

What happened to the Google Ads?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Perhaps it's the words you are searching for but in my niche even with Google instant when you click on the drop down the results page is fully populated with ads on top and on the right. And I know it's not just me because I get tons of traffic from Adwords.

What everybody wants is someone to say this is exactly the niche to go into, advertise here, sell this, and make a fortune. It will never work. Reason: Low barrier of entry, if the guru is telling you what to do he's telling a hundred other people to do the same dam thing also. Also gurus are...

I like what MJ said about listening for people complaining, where there's a complaint there's an opportunity. Of course not all opportunities are created equal. When you see an opportunity run it against MJ's guidelines. I won't say it's easy, I've done it more than once with varying degrees of...

The $10,000 Idea That Came in the Backdoor

    IDEA
I didn't create an app - that was my original intent and in looking at ways to utilize content from my existing site for the app I realized I could offer a digital version of the physical product as an upsell. Sorry if that wasn't clear. I'm certainly not suggesting that creating apps is bad in...

    Ebay a fastlane route?

    WEB/DIGITAL
The problem I see with most responses to this post is that they paint ebay value as black or white. eBay is neither, it's a channel like Amazon or craigslist or Google PPC. The statement that eBay could kill your listing is true of any channel you don't wholly own. Google could stop running your...

A long fall to the bottom and steady climb back to the top

Obviously you have what it takes because you've done it before. I can see why you feel beat up, watching what you built crumble would take the fire out of anyone. That being said it's time to put on your big boy penis and get back on that horse again. Sure times aren't booming but read the...

The $10,000 Idea That Came in the Backdoor

    IDEA
Over the July forth weekend I was reading a copy of Inc. Magazine and there was an article about DIY iPhone apps.
