    Started a Web Design Business

    EXECUTION WEB DESIGN
Hey guys, I have been a member of the forum for a while now and think that MJ’s books are really solid. I am Swedish but I currently live in Pisa, Italy with my girlfriend. I am a pilot for a European airline which is actually the whole reason why I got into business and entrepreneurship...

    The Mom Test

    BOOKS
Yeah I have just seen this presentation two times and actually never read the book but now after MJ included it in the 101 most underrated books and I watched this presentation again, I will definitely read it!

    The Mom Test

    BOOKS
I didn't check out MJ's 101 most underrated books list until very recently and in it I found the mom test. This made me think of a presentation I saw a few years ago where the author talks about business and entrepreneurship. At the time I just got started on my business ventures so I didn't...

This may reduce or even stop your procrastination

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
That’s awesome you think it’s motivating! In terms of doing tasks that are out of reach for your skill set, is there away you can do it differently or break down those tasks into smaller chunks to make it more manageable?

The power of marketing and branding

    MARKETING
Of course it's not a valid business model but there is still some valuable marketing and branding lessons in this. For example, if you actually have a high-end product then selling it in a high-end store and getting advocates to promote your product can be a great way to generate revenue...

    Starting a business

    INTRO
I would say the easiest way to start especially if you don't really have a business idea is to learn business skills. For example learn things like sales, copywriting, web design, SEO, marketing (Google ads, Facebook ads, etc.), networking, communication skills, etc. Then sell those skills as a...

The power of marketing and branding

    MARKETING
I saw how they use these cheap shoes and sold them for high prices in a high end fake store. What are your thoughts on this? Abd what this day about how gullible we are? Thought this was pretty interesting lesson in marketing and branding...

That one is extremely difficult to achieve I think but not impossible. Mainly because perspectives, values and things you want to do and not do in life change over the course of someone's life. I am certainly on a mission to die with zero regrets and I have a list of things I want to achieve...

Is E-Commerce still Alive for 2022 / 2023 and How To Make it a Fastlane Success !!!

    EXECUTION
I currently have my own web design and SEO business with some success. My plan is to use the web design, SEO, marketing and other business skills to start a fastlane business. And I am leaning towards Ecommerce. I have almost no experience with Ecommerce except that I have built a few websites...

This may reduce or even stop your procrastination

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
That is a very limited way of looking at it! It all depends on what you do. You can be floating around in your pool and procrastinate when you actually should be going to your desk and making cold calls. Then you can have the best app to block social media, YT, porn, etc. in the world and it...

I came across this video by accident several weeks ago when I was procrastinating and it really put things into perspective. It has helped me to focus more on my business and take the uncomfortable actions that I know I have to take. And every time I don't feel like doing something in terms of...

Great apps, tools, software... What do you use?

    NOTABLE! HOT!
I didn't know that. Creating videos is not something I have done a lot of yet. Mainly because I feel like I can't do everything by myself. However, I could convert my blog posts into videos and the copy would be a great start for a video script. Have you heard of Lumen5? It's a video creation...

I have to agree. I didn't use Canva until very recently and it has helped me A LOT in creating images and visuals for my clients' websites and my own blog posts! And that is probably only one way to use canva. I am sure there are lot's of other ways Canva will be useful for my and my clients' work.

That's great advice! I feel that's what most people at this forum try to do. Sometimes the feedback and comments can be tough to read but most people here say the things they say with a genuine desire to help one another grow and become better people, entrepreneurs, investors, etc.
