    The only kinds of businesses that politicians feel comfortable praising are small ones with less than 25 employees like "Mom & Pop" stores, people who franchise McDonald's, dry cleaners, etc. Big businesses = evil to politicians even though every big business started out as a small one.

    It's better to buy a new copy instead of a used one because that way you're benefiting the author aka MJ rather than someone else. It's a tiny reward for all the hard work he did writing the book; you might as well show your appreciation by buying it new.
