Narrowed it down to two ideas

    IDEA
Great news! Been making a ton of progress (am going to start a separate thread soon). However I'm trying to think of a professional, rememberable name and everything I've thought of so far is taken. I'm thinking along the lines of home services, home pros, home experts, home professionals...

    Choosing the perfect business name

How important is the actual name of a business and how do you about thinking of one? Is the domain name important with googles new seo updates. For my new business everything is taken and names like Housepros.com are fetching five figures. Would something like KellyHomeMaintenance.com...

Vig since you are the expert in this concept area I'd greatly appreciate your expertise if you have a moment. I am starting in my home state of New Jersey and just have three questions as I begin this.. 1. With licensing do I just have to check and make sure each provider has the required...

    The Finality Of Life

    HOT! MINDSET
From time to time I sit down and think that while I continue to chase dollars, the people I love are growing older and older. It's truly heartbreaking to think about and makes me wonder what the perfect amount of time spent working should be. When my loved ones pass away the money in my bank...

I Cannot thank you enough Vigilante. I'm way too pumped about this opportunity to become scared of the obstacles, but i do agree that maybe I should limit services/service areas initially and build it out as we go. I'm going to work out the legalities early on so that i will have an easier time...

Not exactly. The repairs and services will be billed at a standard rate but the total cost will vary from home to home. I don't want to get beat when larger repairs are necessary. Just to cut the grass each week will total over $1,000 per season. Luckily I am friends with a number of...

WOW coming from you that is a big deal for me! I'm really excited because it not only serves a need, I actually have a passion for it. Might sound crazy, but I've always loved cleaning/fixing/renovating etc. I cannot wait to get this off the ground and start a progress thread. I appreciate...

Narrowed it down to two ideas

    IDEA
So basically after struggling to sit still for a few days of long long hours and think of business ideas, I'm confident I've narrowed it down to two ideas. My thoughts on this... if they fail, I learned and will move on to the next one. I'm also not afraid to share my ideas. Idea 1: A...

    Website for New Business

    EXECUTION
I will be starting a home services company (basically facility services but residential), and would like to know whether I should create the website myself with wix.com or have someone build it. Not sure of the pros/cons. Also anyone with experience have any suggestions of whether residential...
