Hello FastLaners! Here's the short version of my story.

    INTRO
It's pretty simple. You pick a few basic categories of life, such as health, family and relationships, work, etc.... the areas that matter most to you. On each of these categories, rate your current life from 1 to 10. Then do a polar plot. Put all the 1's in the middle of a circle. Draw...

Can Dropshippers Add Value To Customers?

    SOURCING
I'm not a dropshipper but I can ask a question in return. Is there any retail store ever, either brick & mortar or online, that consistently makes a profit by selling stuff for higher prices than somewhere else? If so, what do they do to add that extra perceived value? If there's a McDonald's...

Cooking with Jet Fuel - Who I am

    INTRO
Hi Spencer, welcome aboard. I joined the forum last week. I admire your shift of perspective, your dedication and your current action plan. If you liked the work on research protocols, I believe there's probably a way you could do freelance work remotely in this area, and build a Fastlane...

    I'm a copywriter not a proofreader!

    MINDSET RANT
I agree with Lex. As a freelancer you can make clear that you are strong in some things, and not trying to sell yourself as an expert in other things. Also, as a freelancer, you can bump up your rates and delivery time enough so that you can outsource proofreading before you turn your work...

Late Bloomer's touchy-feely exploration of feelings and actions

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE
I am willing to discuss my specific action steps with people who have themselves succeeded at those steps. I am willing to get review of my plans from people who have themselves succeeded at comparable goals. I am willing to get advice about additional marketing platforms from those who are...

The next Big Thing is quietly being assembled by Google...

    HOT!
By now we were supposed to all be using Google Wave instead of email, instant messaging, forums, Slack, wikis etc. It would be hard to push a technology platform harder than Google pushed Wave... and hard to find one buried deeper at the bottom of the ocean, than Wave is now.

Should I Buy a Business? Is it Cheating?

    HOT!
Expansion by acquisition can be a great way to take a huge step forward in business... or a way to over extend yourself to a collapse that makes you lose everything. It all depends on how you do it! Have you looked at business acquisition information from people who've been there and guided...

The next Big Thing is quietly being assembled by Google...

    HOT!
Yes. At a previous corporate job, I was involved with the wonderful new thing from Google that would let us integrate with their hot new service, in an industry that desperately needed some adult supervision about online access. Google lost interest and shut down the whole thing. They've done...

    How about a Distribution Company?

Hi Benjamin, The big question I have is, if Amazon decides to do more distribution business in your country, how will you compete against them?

    Sales Prospecting Question

Hi Johnny, what a dramatic soap opera at the shop that led to your being in charge! Wow! You have one way to get new clients, which requires a lot of manual labor. You need to add additional ways to get clients, which are scalable. I recommend you look at information from marketing gurus...

Late Bloomer's touchy-feely exploration of feelings and actions

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE
Haven't heard back yet from either Fiverr (I wasn't expecting that today) or Upwork (logged on, status pending). Close to done with this weekend's Slowlane money making transcription project. All the text is typed in, I need to proofread, format, and delivery. That won't take long. Realized...

Going "All-In" on ONE cryptocurrency... which?

    NOTABLE! CRYPTO INVESTING
That's interesting. So which cryptocurrency is backed by each unit representing one frozen cell of Finney?

Going "All-In" on ONE cryptocurrency... which?

    NOTABLE! CRYPTO INVESTING
I thought part of the Libertarian dream of cryptocurrency was to not have to deal with a government. (I'm not saying that's my dream, but I thought that was a huge part of the appeal of cryptocurrencies.) Is casino coin accepted in Macau?

Going "All-In" on ONE cryptocurrency... which?

    NOTABLE! CRYPTO INVESTING
Also, gold is inherently self-authenticating. As Archimedes noticed, if you have a bathtub, you can verify if a hunk of metal is actually gold. It's a lot harder to verify a blockchain entry, and doing so depends on math that most people don't personally understand.

Going "All-In" on ONE cryptocurrency... which?

    NOTABLE! CRYPTO INVESTING
I'm responding to thank MJ for the topic. Before Henry Ford made his Model T, there were something like a hundred car companies. It was already obvious to many people that cars were the future, that they would be extremely important to society, that big fortunes would be made in them. Which...

    Hi Warriors! :)

    INTRO
Welcome Sameer! I joined here last week. Love your positive attitude of contribution! I believe that your writing, promotion, and teamwork skills are all transferable to the Fastlane. I had a pen pal from India who had moved to Dubai. I was blown away to learn what an incredibly dynamic...

    Tools to work remotely.

Windows Remote Desktop, free from Microsoft, should be all you need. It will be slow, maybe about a fifth the speed of working directly at the machine, much worse for anything video intensive like gaming or video editing. I suggest you get the laptop before you leave home, so you can make...

TLDR; Feedback on my sales page (Plus a brief progress/execution episode)

Excellent rewrite, it's so much clearer and easier to follow now that you explained the whole story. It's like when I saw the ultra extended super deluxe added-scenes premium Director's Favorite version of Lord of the Rings. Man that was a LOOONG show but I was never once confused about the...

    Death of Loved Ones

    PEOPLE
Yes we visited it and I had fun swimming there... I also liked the public beach in Lihue with the chain of buoys set up to make a calm pond in the ocean. :-) I was only there briefly but would love to go back for longer. I could see myself retiring there!

Only one of anything online violates the commandment of Control.

    MARKETING
I'd love to see other forum members discuss "only one" issues and their solutions. if someone else has the power to 'make introductions on your behalf,' then you can't control what company you keep. Exclusive: YouTube ran ads from hundreds of brands on extremist channels
