I will be there too. I tried to make the reservation under fastlane, but they required a name. I will PM people the name to ask for when they confirm they are coming on this thread. I will also tell the hostess to associate the reservation under my name with fastlane, so when you arrive you...

Ok bump time! I will be donating a growler of some tasty San Diego beer. Maybe some Pizza Port or maybe some Alpine Brewery beer. I was thinking who ever came the furthest would win it, but if anyone has any ideas for a contest such as best idea or most helpful etc I am all ears.

What does your days look like?

    OFF-TOPIC
Omertà. Your post was truly epic. But truthfully there are lots of people here who are stuck on the slow lane. You were just being extremely honest about it, even if you didnt realize it. That is not what bothers me as you can change this TODAY if you want to. What really worries me about your...

What on earth is going on in highschool these days?

    OFF-TOPIC
Back in the not so far off past getting teased or punched a couple times was the only thing people had to worry about in highschool. Now it seems highschool guys are anally raping other guys. Some money quotes here: 10% of males report some form of sexual assault. “You need a good...

How to make 200% on your money, an example for those with limited funds

Terrific find. Thanks MJ! I looked in my home city and was able to find auction houses locally. There are some incredible deals here to be had. Glenm. I think an interesting path would be to create your own auction house in the city you live in. If you think about it, what they are doing is...

France - 75% tax for high earners!

    HOT! TAXES | REGS
I pay tribute to those that came before me by producing more than I consume. As far as future generations go, how will they even have a future paying the pensions of policemen, firefighters, mayors, lifeguards, councilmen, etc.

A Hustler's Guide to the Fastlane - by Michael Grey.

    HOT!
Inlikeflint: I was thinking the same thing while I was reading this. Very easy on the eyes. Well done Michael. I would wonder why you need a retail location? If this is only so you can sell your business further down the line I would say this may not be a good enough reason to go B+M retail...

How do you build your reputation speed in the forum?

Bigeemac A lot of the members here who have high speed, have hi speed because they gave a lot of great info. One of the first things I did when I found the forum was find members who had high speed, then look at all of their old posts and threads. I learned an incredible amount from doing this...

World map showing where the fastlane is alive and well.

    EXECUTION
Hmmm. Interesting concept. I tend to think the opposite. I think it is better to live amongst more entrenpeurial people, even if there is more competition. For instance, when I want to look for hosting companies for my website; I have many great companies to choose from. Why is this? It is...

Jon. I think we should all just pm people we see that give a location close to San Diego. I won't see everyone, but collectively we can probably cover a lot of people. Some may get duplicate PMs but I don't think they will mind.

    MEETUPS
Jon. What if we give it a week or two and meet on the weekend. In the mean time we can pm everyone we see that is near by and invite them. I seem to remember a lot of people from San Diego, we might get a pretty good turn out.

JasonR. I hate when people answer questions with "it depends" when you are just trying to get a feel for how a city is, but it depends. Unlike cities in the Midwest that have a more homogenous culture, SD is made up of a lot of different sub cultures. Depending on whether you are single or...

Flipping high-end luxury and exotic cars?

    HOT!
Limitup. My opinion is that you should go for it, so long as you don't try and go to far to fast before you know the game. I think that whether it is fastlane or not doesnt matter, because it is taking you into a direction that you really enjoy and would be motivated to wake up to everyday...
