Why Startups Fail (Hint: It's the #1 Commandment)

    EXECUTION
The way I define terms, 100% of businesses fail due to "failure to pivot" When things go bad, when prices are too high, when you don't have the right team, when there's no market need, you can ALWAYS pivot your failures into successes. I don't even see "Failure" as anything except "Quitting too...

    What would you say...

    RANT
I disagree with the "just let it be" philosophy. Children are sponges building their base knowlege about the world they live in. Every child is a scientist experimenting and drawing conclusions fromt he world around them. When they play in mud they're learning about semi-solid matter, when they...

    Advice Writing Fantasy Fiction?

    PUBLISHING
After watching a few interviews with my writing heroes (Jim Butcher, Brandon Sanderson) I've decided to write some fiction. I'm unsure if this is something I want to even try and make money off of, it's mostly for self development and wish fulfillment. With NaNoWriMo coming up, I decided to try...

How do you manage sleep cycles?

Yes. Still on board, takes away some of the work so I can focus on other things. I'm not getting a nice 6-8 hour sleep nightly while still having time for the little pleasures (tea, reading, etc) during the day.

    My Own Automotive YouTube Channel!

    EXECUTION
If you promote this among the ASMR crowd, they'll go CRAZY for it. IF you didn't know: There's a segment of the population that gets a 'brain tingle' from tactile sensations and noises. Snow crunching, whispers, touching paper, etc. People have tapped into this and created videos simulating...

    My Own Automotive YouTube Channel!

    EXECUTION
If I were you, I'd forgo the beer and disable adsense entirely. People HATE sharing videos with ad prerolls. Blogs hate embedding and writing about them... and YT is WAY more uptight about copyright infringement, even if you don't have any. (Competitors flagging you to get you shut down, for...

    My Own Automotive YouTube Channel!

    EXECUTION
This is untrue. "YT" in-video ads will make you no money. But finding sponsors for integrated in-video content can generate a real nice bundle of $ if you've got targeted traffic like this channel will generate. I've been keeping this to myself until now... but it's time to drop some knowledge...

I looked through Haro on...

    The self help niche.

Technically what I'm branching into myself is considered "Self Help". although to me, it doesn't feel like it. If I can add value to somebody's life, I can add value. Nothing anybody else delivers will make the people I reach any less affected. The type of content I'm creating: The first...

    Two Kinds Of People...

    MINDSET RANT
When you come to the realization you just came to it's REALLY easy to look down upon others. I did that for a long while. Remember this always: For you. and for many of us too. But there are people who are TRUELY happy, satisfied, and fulfilled doing nothing but consuming. Not depressed...

After Selling His Startup For $25m People He Barely Knew Started Calling...

    FUNNY
In the past 2 months my attitude about this has changed COMPLETELY. 180 flip. I no longer care about the competitiveness of it, I don't care about winning or rubbing anything in other people's faces. If I sold Castleforge tomorrow for $25m, I'd rather keep most of it private. I'd observe a...

    Workout Accountablity Thread

    HOT!
Yeah, I listened to podcasts or audiobooks on my daily walks. I might start running or jogging soonish. I have MAJOR resistance to it beyond the purely physical resistance. Might be my neighborhood, I am unsure. I will figure it out. I have read an article about how class has different...
