Every Idea that pops into my Mind seems worthless...How to get on the Track

    IDEA
Since you have a lot of free time, you should be able to analyze your ideas a little deeper and quicker than most could working a job. I wouldn't discount every idea as stupid or not working. You sound like you have the rest of the stuff revolving how to come up with an idea (improving an old...

    {PROGRESS + ACCOUNTABILITY} LAURYN'S RECONSTRUCTION: GETTING TO 50 SHADES OF PAID

    PUBLISHING
Great thread! I should tell my gf to buy your sex book when finished....she has hard time in this area and is self conscious. Good luck with the books and look forward to reading more.

    Cryptocurrency Experience

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
A lot of poker players jumped on the bitcoin train. Hell, even one poker site uses bitcoins to play. This is basically a decent gamble, as the future is uncertain. It could go way north, or way south. I am not too knowledgeable on it, but I would just invest to have fun with it while it...

"Sell Your Crap. Pay Your Debt. Do What You Love."

    MINDSET
I really enjoyed that. I dont agree with persuing your passions =ing security per say, but he makes very valid points. Some just dont get it or dont care, others get it but dont want to do it, and others just get it and do it. Just depends what u want out of life. Like above post as well....him...

Black Friday: Consumers Will Flock, Producers Will Not

Sure, I have a story...probably boring, but I repeated to myself the whole time (including words to my girlfriend) about how badly we are valuing our time; as well as how dumb the whole thing is. Went back to my gf's parents for Thanksgiving....town is small. Not like dirt roads type of...

PISSED off that I was fed the slowlane LIES

    SLOWLANE
I woke up this morning with a dusting of snow on the ground...just a dusting. My mood went completely south, as it already does (I am not a morning person). I am forced to drive 20-25 min through other idiots who seem like they are obvlious to road conditions...all for 40k/yr in a cube. Not...

Is it good to feel good?

    MINDSET
Sure...you definitely have to be proud of what you have accomplished. Being negative saying something is not good enough might lead to frustration and feeling of failure. However, if you're proud of what you created, then always thinking how you can make it better, bigger, faster, stronger, so...

How many words are best when you are starting out?

    PUBLISHING
I agree with the above. I can't imagine all of the Harry Potters and the like with how long they are and kept the attention....but, this is what I would look for as a writer. Seems like the older you get, the longer the novel is, the better. As a younger kid, I would want a book 100-200...

We sell Vipers in KS? Thought this state was too slowlane to have those :) I live in Kansas City, but from out west...driven through/been in Topeka many times. Rarely see anything in this neck of the woods. Corvettes are still the most widely seen/exciting vehicles around here haha (new...

    Attending Real Estate Licencing School

    REAL ESTATE
I thought about doing this as well, but moreso from the investing standpoint. If I'm going to go into REI anyway, I might as well save myself time of going through another person for hunting on the MLS and getting into places. Would also save a bit on commissions. I probably wouldn't jump...

    Business over hobbies?

    MINDSET
The worst is when you have a money making hobby that isn't really fastlane, but is probably better than working your current job...and allows for freedom. That makes me want to pursue the hobby more to build up more cash to eventually quit the job and pursue fastlane...which, all I end up doing...

Selling my car today to ride a bike. Dedicated or crazy?

Hard to be without a car nowadays, but depends on how often you have the girlfriend's car around to do things. Hard to go back to visit parents, have transportation if she's out of town, go get groceries/fast food, meet clients, etc. Do what you gotta do though! If you don't need one, don't...

    Audio Books vs Reading

I do both as well...sometimes it's more annoying to listen to something than to just relax your mind in the quiet to read. I listen to audio in the car and read at home. If I listen at home, I'm more apt to surf the web and dink around elsewhere, not really listening then. As for content, it...

    Just Quit My Job

Question over this...what do you mean "on bay?" Does that mean only make 1 month accessible to living costs and you keep throwing rest into assets that can't be converted quickly to cash, or you mean just keep reinvesting all funds except one month's "needs" into the business so that you can't...

Total newb to inventing, need guidance

Nah, don't split profits...I would find a place that can create a prototype of your product. Others will chime in I'm sure, but I'll get the ball rollin. I'm sure "One Simple Idea" or a book of the like would provide something. I've never looked into this before, but seems like it would be...
