What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!

    NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHAT
I'm reading this too. Written by our very own, forum member Brian Mc Shane. Taking my team reading it and writing a lot in my journal. Haven't read much since the storm because my mind has been preoccupied with many other things, but will get back to it this week and do a full review when I'm...

How Much Would You Pay To NEVER See An Online Ad Again?

    HOT!
I meant if it was to the point where companies realize that there were so many people using an ad blocker that the was no point for them to waste their money on advertising.

How Much Would You Pay To NEVER See An Online Ad Again?

    HOT!
Without Ads, a lot of sites would lose their main source of revenue and would be shut down. Not good for business. Also, without ads, it would make it that much more difficult to find out about new products. For me, it's important to see all the new products out there for my business. I want...

    QVC Sprouts

Got this email from QVC yesterday: "Hi Sal, So the paint brush cover failed QA on the first go-around. I have attached the results so you can read over them, but basically here is a rundown: 1) the country of origin needs to be placed somewhere on the product or packaging 2) I guess on the...

    Hurricane Sandy

    OFF-TOPIC
Lots of people lost power again. In Staten Island, we only got about 3-5 inches of snow. Most part of Jersey got over a foot. I feel really bad for the people by the shore. Good news is that it will be in the mid 60's all weekend. Clean-up is going pretty well too. Lots of people pitching in...

    Hurricane Sandy

    OFF-TOPIC
The whole east coast of Staten Island is a disaster. I spoke to someone today that was at Katrina. They said that this is just as bad except our area is WAY more populated, which makes it worse. I'm Ok, as is my family. We just lost power. I have some friends that were hit very hard. And gas...

    Fascinating America

    OFF-TOPIC
A couple a blocks away from a Hospital in NYC can make a huge difference in travel time without lights and sirens. What would normally take you 1 minutes, can take 20 minutes or longer for most of the day in NYC. Trust me. I know this from experience. I drive a fire truck.

Hurricane Sandy Donations - Calling on all Fastlaners

    OFF-TOPIC
Thank You! This is exactly what I plan on doing with the donations. The response in NY has been absolutely amazing. It feels like the days after 9/11 all over again. The residents of Staten Island have shown unbelievable support for one another. The donation centers are so overwhelmed right now...

Hurricane Sandy Donations - Calling on all Fastlaners

    OFF-TOPIC
Yes, that wasn't too far from my firehouse. Right down the block from where I stood the night of the storm, a family with a house right on the water, decided to stay in their home because looters looted their home last year during Irene. A huge wave swept their enitre hom away along with 4...

Hurricane Sandy Donations - Calling on all Fastlaners

    OFF-TOPIC
Hi Fastlaners. As you know, the entire East Coast has been heavily effected by Hurricane Sandy. One forgotten area that has been hit extremely hard is Staten Island, NY. Thousands of homes and businesses have been destroyed, over 20 people confirmed dead, with more washing up each day, over...

    Hurricane Sandy

    OFF-TOPIC
Hey Carrie. Is there anyone she can stay with or Shelter she can go to for the night. They have set up shelters everywhere. At least she can stay warm at night time. That's a pretty far ride for me and I'm on a 1/4 tank of Gas. I'm hoping I can fill up some time this weekend, but things are...

    Hurricane Sandy

    OFF-TOPIC
Just got phone and internet service back today. The problem wasn't charging tg e phones, as we were able to keep them charged through generators or car chargers. The problem was that cell and cable wires and towers were knocked out or badly damaged. I'm stir getting shoddy service. That's the...

    Hurricane Sandy

    OFF-TOPIC
I'm in the middle of it right now. Just coming off a 24 hour shift at the firehouse. Not so bad as of yet, except for areas near the coast. Flooding near the coast and lots of trees and power lines down inland. Lights just flickered as I'm typing. lol It's not as bad as Irene was last year, but...

    Any Marketing Ideas?

    IDEA MARKETING
Looks like a great product. I'm in. I would love to give it a shot since my favorite workouts are deadlifts and squats. I would also take any advice from PatrickP since he's a fitness buff (like myself). BTW- I might be able to hook you up with a new manufacturer that I found in Canada. Close...
