So you want to move to Scottsdale?

Why not? I can't think of any better motivation. Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk 2

    One Doctor's Journey

    EXECUTION
Since you're already at such a large pivot point - have you looked into other tech stacks? A good developer working with one of the newer frameworks (Ruby on Rails, Django) can bring a MVP to launch much quicker than a similarly skilled PHP guy could. Most likely with less brittle code too...

    Searching old posts

Looks like its pulling up just under 1000 posts a whack now. Most standard select SQL statements default to a limit of 1000. Finding the relevant statement and appending a "LIMIT 2000" to the end of the statement should let you get more, if desired.

Amazon FBA - A Good Day!

    WEB/DIGITAL
First off, congrats on your sales! @fink please don't out your product and niche. This information is not necessary relative to your questions and will create more competition if you choose to show everyone. Shame on this guy for asking. Anyways, it is normal to experience some day-to-day...

    Attracting top talent and retention

    EXECUTION
Is trying to fix a macro-level problem on a micro-level an additional hurdle you really want to subject your business to? I 100% agree with you that great employees will deserve a premium over an average employee. But a 5-7 fold increase? No way. The best employee in the world won't be able to...

    Attracting top talent and retention

    EXECUTION
Why? Do you want to run a charity? Or a business? If the market deems a certain skill to be worth x, then why pay 5-7 times that number for the same skill and no justifiable extra benefits?

8 Eyewear: From Idea, to Launch, to Growth (And Quitting the Job)

    IDEA
Expanding on this a bit... if the problem is simply that you don't want US customers seeing cheaper shipping prices to Canada then one option would be to only show the relevant shipping info via a dynamic landing page to each visitor. So a US-based visitor would see the $15 Express shipping...

Most valuable programming language for online marketers?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Andy is right on the money with this one. Marketing is ultimately a data-driven game. And the faster you are able to analyze your raw numbers into actionable data the better off you will be. There isn't anything out there that can match the speed, ease of use, and versatility of Excel (except...

    My Brainless Idea

    IDEA
x2. I could see this turning into a GREAT Teespring-esque business. Any plans to let customers create campaigns and products in the future?

So you want to get into affiliate marketing...

    GOLD! MARKETING
My take: the cream always rises to the top. Someone who can run profitable traffic in an intensely competitive vertical will have a tremendous advantage over someone who can't. That person will be able to compete with just about anybody in just about any vertical. Sure, the guy who can't...

FBA and Importing Goods From China

    HOT! SOURCING
Are your future business plans tied to importing and reselling? If not, why are you choosing to move away? Any thoughts on the future of this arbitrage in the next few years?

Giving Up Too Much Control By Solely Relying On Facebook Ads???

    WEB/DIGITAL
It seems to me that his problem ISN'T that he was only advertising on Facebook. It's that he got complacent and didn't build barriers around his highly profitable, low barrier to entry business. Dropshipping is a game of arbitrage. And arbitrage markets generally dry up quickly. How fast they...

Which Home page should I go with

    MARKETING
OUR opinions don't matter Test them both. Look at your numbers and let your CUSTOMERS tell you which ones they like more. Many times the "better" version of something (in terms of conversions) isn't the prettiest, nicest looking, or most broadly appealing. Take a look at landing page rotators...

I need some advice with getting myself on my feet.

    MINDSET
Randall nailed it. Rather than try to add to what he said, I'll just wanted to share a quick story with you. You see, I used to think a lot like you do. I thought moving out was stupid. Instead, I could stay home and get a nice ROI on my cash while minimizing my expenses. Seemed logical...

Get a 1 on 1 Call with Jack Edwards and help a Kid Who Is Dying.

    OFF-TOPIC
Expanding on what we talked about on Skype a bit... It's time for you to either sink or swim. Do or die. Go make some sales. Focus 100% on just sales. DON'T get a website, cards, flyers, shirts or anything else made up until you have made just one sale. Use your profits to buy that stuff if...

    eCommerce: Troubles with "Direct" Traffic?

    MARKETING
You guys are on the right track! View-through conversions is the term you will want to start researching. In my humble opinion though, a high number of view-through conversions means that you aren't converting your paid traffic effectively. And if you aren't converting them well you probably...

    Media Buying Mastermind Group

    MEETUPS
Applications are now closed! We had some GREAT applications from many very well-qualified people. Frankly, I was blown away by every one of them. It was NOT an easy decision trying to fill the 8 spots. With all this experience and motivation though I think this is going to be one kick a$$...
