How To Best Monetize A Course?

Yeah. I've definitely run into that side of it as well. Those are the 'hey I'll make one record and be famous' guys that keep calling themselves rappers while not accomplishing anything in 20 years. Those are the same guys that show on my YouTube channel saying you can't learn to rap its a skill...

How To Best Monetize A Course?

That's a good resource I've thought about. Thanks for bringing it up. I think so. I also would try not to price especially high as honestly, if the project is a complete flop I'll just make it free to help people. I'll pm you. Very curious what you've done so far and how you organized...

How To Best Monetize A Course?

So after a few years of teaching how-to rap instructional videos along with helping people in real life, I think I could put together a pretty kick a$$ course. I'm just kicking ideas around right now, but I was thinking about writing a book that correlates with a 30-day course which includes...

You can't afford to stay on the sidewalk!

    MINDSET
I want to preface this by saying I don't know the challenges that individuals with familial commitments like children or a dependent parent face, but the bottom line remains the same: The only thing you can't afford is to waste your time. After graduating college and blowing my savings, I've...

What system do you use for personal accountability?

    MINDSET
I wanted to bring this thread up to see what kind of organization and planning system you use to keep yourself accountable and make sure you get everything done you had planned for the day. I currently have a large whiteboard with a weekly set of things to do and times of day that I should get...

There is also thumbtack.com, which has some serious money from google and is also where I currently work (if SM team sees this, hi guys and gals). So that's another one you might want to research.

A more efficient system of content delivery. Essentially employing algorithms that allow us to make radio stations which will continually play music high quality but original music in the genre(s) you want, as well as reduce the play rate of low quality music. I don't know a good site where...

Yes! Well, not exactly. Free for artists to upload their music. One of the biggest problems I see with promotion sites is that they try to wring as much money out of the artists as possible. The platforms either exist simply to host the music and you promote yourself or you pay money to get...

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into what they've got. Already sent them an email, I'll follow up with a call when I'm not selling my life to the man.

That's a great point about T-shirts. I've been taking a pretty meaningless approach in the sense of....well if I just throw some stuff out there based on a general theme someone's bound to pick it up. But why would they? That's not a need. That's not an improvement. The entry barriers in...

Well.....the site is up. It just doesn't do any of the things I want it to as far as creating value. I either need to hire someone to code it or learn the code myself. Or wait for my partner to finish it, which has been a contention point. I appreciate the positive energy though. I just...

    INTRO
I definitely think that's a problem I've run into in the past and am working on switching my mindset out of. To clarify, sometimes I have a hard time actually identifying needs, as well as finding ways to overcome entry barriers for solving the needs I do identify. For example, I found that...

Cease fire! I can feel the tension in your fingers leaking out through your keyboard as you prepare to give me a verbal lashing regarding how I alone made the decisions that led me to where I am today. I agree, I just wanted to get your attention. Also, fair warning, there’s going to be a bit of...
