    HOT!
I am just starting out this year and still learning myself. I grew them before in another state, but i was more familiar with the soil and seasons there.

For sure! I was talking with a teenage relative the other day and they were wondering why someone would eat a bat. Communism is why!

    HOT!
I wish people would take this more seriously. Someone can be a carrier before they have symptoms (according to someone I know who definitely would know), so they can be out there killing someone's granny before they even cough once. Stay home. Don't be a granny killer. As for the third...

The Worldwide C0VlD-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Discussion Thread...

    HOT!
I have worked for government. More money does not help. It does not make the workers smarter, it does not make them more efficient, it does not make them ABLE TO TAKE INITIATIVE TO GET SH*T DONE, which is probably the number one thing that makes government inefficient. There are layers, and in...

    HOT!
I don't worry about getting and dying from it but I worry about the effect. i.e. No toilet paper, and no hand sanitizer. How come all of a sudden everyone is worried about germs? If everyone was this vigilant all the time, there would be a lot less illness.

The concept of VALUE - a frustrated outlook.

    MINDSET RANT
This is something I think about a lot. It seems to me that there are things that OUGHT to have value for all time and then there are things that modern society values. The place where these two types of value intersect is narrow. The second type of value is more fast lane and is definitely more...

How do I go Fastlane as an Attorney?

    HOT!
There's a reverse side of this for an attorney who knows IP law: writing an e-guide on avoiding IP violations. Trust me, there's TONS of Etsy sellers who could use it. Then again, like a lot of things, the market that needs it will probably ignore it. Also, in my experience with what I've paid...

Are business/self-help books a waste of time?

    HOT!
Yes! Fiction can teach a lot. For instance, I know a lot of ways to kill someone because I read a lot of suspense. Kidding. But, the value of fiction is far beyond what most people think and people definitely need to read more novels and less Instagram.

    Money & Food

    HOT! INVESTING
I reaalllllly hate eating out. There are a lot of foods I can't eat, so I really need to meal prep and cook since I can't afford a chef. If you have no food restrictions (like gluten or dairy or whatnot) then meal prep becomes a lot easier. Even if you don't want to meal prep, there are things...

I Am Being Blackmailed - Need Help

This is why I pay for a domain renewal for a domain I haven't needed in 6 years. It's still attached to a previous business name.

Stumbled onto a product people want but isn't available, how to move forward?

Nah, I'd grab a lump of clay and start smooshing it around to figure out the fastest way to make it. ETA: If it is an animal shape then very likely it is an original creation of another person and it would probably be better not to copy it.

My 11 year old was diagnosed with autism yesterday

    HEALTH
I've got some (quite a few, actually, we seem to have a high risk) autistic relatives that run the range from high functioning and able to live on their own to needing assisted living. My advice: Early therapy is super important. In particular, regarding two things: 1) dealing with the...

Stumbled onto a product people want but isn't available, how to move forward?

Why can't you reverse engineer it and make it yourself? That's assuming the original maker doesn't own the IP right to the design.

    Small Scale Manufacturing Machines

    HOT!
Excellent thread. Instead of manufacturing your own product, I would look at manufacturing parts for others to use in their making. Sort of like selling shovels to miners.

2020 Web design + School Progress Thread

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
 You could not pay me enough to run a FB group. I'm in some and there are always the crazy ones that make it awkward and uncomfortable for other members. I can't even imagine how it must be to run one! Will finish reading this thread when I have time as I too am more interested in a...

The Productocracy: How To Print Money (Legally!)

    GOLD!
One of my favorite parts of the book! Over the last year, I switched from pushing my own handmade goods (whose market is at best, lackluster, due to competition) to branching out into finding a target customer in a few niches to sell vintage versions of what I used to make. And you know what...

Chronic Illness Limits Me To 25 Hrs/Week... Possible To Succeed Fastlane despite?

Thank you! This is the part of entrepreneurship/rah -rah/hustle/positivity/you can do anything stuff I HATE. There are legitimate physical problems that you can't overcome with thoughts. Really. And if you are limited in what you can do physically you are limited.

Chronic Illness Limits Me To 25 Hrs/Week... Possible To Succeed Fastlane despite?

That's a fantastic idea. I've got a few different health problems which when combined, are kind of complicated and are currently dealt with piecemeal and it makes me crazy.

Why is there not more healthy fast food chains?

    HOT!
Not sure if this'll help, but I can eat almost nothing at fast food places because of everything that's hidden in stuff, "healthy" option or not. I do massive amounts of food prep, and for road food, I cut up turkey breast into cubes, then there are grapes, carrots, peppers, cheese cubes, etc...
