Don't let money be your excuse! (How I turned $400 into $18K fast)

    GOLD!
@Walter Hay do you have any feedback on partnering with manufacturers in China? This business has since been sold and the manufacturer wants to go 50/50 with me in a B2C company - they provide the product/shipping/support and I provide the digital marketing. I'd only consider this for equity but...

I'm self taught in almost everything I do and it's served me well. Not everyone is a shark but a lot are - if they are selling advice, why aren't they putting that effort into selling product? Because selling information products is more profitable/easier. They're selling a dream!

    Reddit is Full of Slowlaners

    SLOWLANE RANT
You interpreted my comments to read that I don't have a bullshit filter and that Reddit is my only source of news. No need to apologize, everyone is an individual with unique opinions and personalty traits.

    Reddit is Full of Slowlaners

    SLOWLANE RANT
I frequent Reddit. The front page is a great place to get up to date world news as it happens, coming from a tech background I get a good laugh out of some of the jokes on there and there are a few subs that get traffic like nowhere else on the world for me to not only promote my wares but also...

I'm new to affiliate marketing, an my niche is not so open for it. What to do next?

    MARKETING
Affiliate marketing implies that you have no products of your own, so you want to sell someone else's products. If there are no affiliate marketing programs for your niche and you don't want to sell your own products, you're mainly left with 2 options: display ads or collecting leads to then...

How is a website like this monetized? Can't wrap my head around it.

Honestly I can't see any value that the site creates, so I don't imagine it makes much money.

How is a website like this monetized? Can't wrap my head around it.

It does have AdWords on it. Selling links? Maybe they are building authority now before going all out with the ads. It's easier to get links from other sites when you aren't the internet equivalent to junk mail (which this site screams to me anyway).

Best way to set up a team who work 24/7 ?

Why not leverage different timezones? Setup in Croatia or somewhere and then also in SEA. If you want to get serious, somewhere like Chile could be an option too.

    Consolidation and Focus

    EXECUTION
Considering selling off my affiliate blog and FBA product (same niche). Been a long time since I have sold a website (last time was through Flippa) and prices seem to have gone up quite a lot. They don't really take a lot of hours each week to maintain (mainly social media channels, which I...

    Taking advantage of currency value

You know your country best - how well do you believe in it's future? From everything I have read, Brazil has a rocky road ahead of it, but should end up in a greater position of power and wealth in the medium term. This may mean earning as much as you can from selling in the US, then using...

    AUD or USD? Help!

I may be dumbing this down for you (apologies if this is the case), but please know that there is a difference between citizenship and residency. Either way, Italian residency is probably not much better than Australian residency. It can however, open the door to Swiss residency, if the idea of...

    AUD or USD? Help!

As an Australian resident if you are a sole shareholder or if majority of shareholders are in Australia (eg: yourself and your wife), it will likely be considered a CFC, so you will be taxed in Australia under your personal taxation. If you want to reduce your tax burden as an Aussie and you...

    Web Developing (Yay or Nay?)

Thanks for your reply! Seems that retainers could have been a game changer, though I can see what you mean by clients wanting to work with you specifically. If you were doing it again would you have designed the agency in a way that would make it easier to sell?

    Web Developing (Yay or Nay?)

@codo3500 have you considered selling the agency rather than "offloading" clients?

    Web Developing (Yay or Nay?)

What you have suggested is a great exercise, but unless you have an uncanny natural ability and a huge amount of drive, chances are it won't end up making you a lot of money. What it could do however, is help you to learn new skills and about a new industry which you can use for future businesses.
