    HUGE Fastlane biz opportunity . . .

    HOT!
Smartphone/tablet apps would be my guess... But then again, that seems too easy of a guess.

    value of website-how to determine?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Different "website value calculator" websites base their "value" on keywords and site hits and maybe even whether it is a .com, .net, or whatever. Every one of these sites will yield you a different value. At the end of the day, it is only worth whatever someone is actually willing to pay for...

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!

    NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHAT
Outliers: The Story of Success Read this book last week. It gives a really interesting look at success based on opportunity, timing, and of course the hard work that goes along with anything successful. Definitely worth the read.

    allow me to introduce myself

My avatar was due for a makeover. It's been the turbo-snail since I registered. I stop by and read often, but I don't post a whole lot. I guess it would be more fitting if I were to have changed the avatar to a troll... It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds. :smilielol:

    allow me to introduce myself

I totally agree with you. And while this is probably not the right thread or section to start a debate, there are definitely exceptions to the rule depending on the exact franchise. I "know" folks who put in less than 30 hours a week operating multiple locations of the same chain. Easy income...

    allow me to introduce myself

Hope you're not suggesting there is anything wrong with operating a franchise... :smug2: While it is generally (and obviously) better to be the one franchising vs. operating and paying the fees, there is still a lot of capital to be made operating franchises. Just sayin :coolgleamA:

I have finally accepted my biggest barrier

    MINDSET
I live by the fact of what LamboMan said. No matter how bad things get, someone somewhere has it 10 times worse and is coping. I had a mentor that used to always say "From the day of your birth to the day you ride in a hearse, there's nothing so bad that it couldn't be worse." One piece of...

    Naming a product

Not quite sure I have a good name for you, but I can suggest really targeting the Gulf Coast for sales, especially right around the May-June time frame. Hurricane season begins June 1st and generators of all types and size are a hot commodity down here. Best of luck,

"Sayings" to live by => or not...

    OFF-TOPIC
When you reach a certain level of success, this becomes blatantly true and is something to live by: "Don't be afraid of enemies who attack you; be afraid of the friends who flatter you."

How to really make money online...

If you're talking about Rob, then you have to remember that he markets a subscription based on an industry that will always be in demand. His revenue model is virtually failsafe, yet finding an equal example for most people is pretty difficult considering most won't give in and go that route for...

Solja Boy Tell Em' - 18YR. OLD with Lambo. HAH!

    OFF-TOPIC
"money cant buy class" is a perfect way to put it. There are tons of these hoodlum "rappers" all over the place in every town. I see this as more of a lucky break rather than an actual entrepreneur skillset/mindset.

50 jobs in 50 states: A journey of work

Ill bet you that his book, once finished, is the key to him living in the fastlane. After starting in Utah, 26-year-old lands from USC in Houston, where he scored an unpaid gig with Chevron Daniel Seddiqui is spending a week with Chevron as a part of his quest to visit 50...

The Anatomy of a $20,000,000 Fastlane idea

    IDEA
I still think the idea was technically stolen, just better marketed. I saw the "Slanket" for sell years ago. Anyone remember?

    OFF-TOPIC
I have time in everything from SR22's to Lear 35's. The SR22 is an awesome plane, but for single engine time, I am partial to the Beech Bonanza. Tried and true and never let me down when I used to fly out in Socal. Every real fastlaner should get at least their private license and...

Barack Obama How do we capitalize?

At least Bush's background is legitimate. Barack as nothing to back him moneywise/business-wise other than his book sales (which contribute greatly to his sudden wealth). The last person I am watching is Obama, though... I am watching Bill Gross with a keen eye, as he is certainly the most...
