How do you price your services?

    MARKETING
Time is your most precious resource, if you do them for free you'll have a better chance to build your portfolio fast. And if some of your clients ask your former clients for how good you are and how much did they pay. They'll say that you did it for free and give you a shining referral. The...

Yup, exactly this. Its exactly what fox is doing right now, you gotta build up your reputation and continue to go for a bigger client everytime. But yeah those are the prices you're working towards. Work hard, prove your worth, and that will be your paycheck at the end of the day.

Worth it to work at big companies like Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple?

For sure, I just started my journey. I might have started it for the destination, but now I'm realizing that the journey I'm on right now is fun as hell. Meeting new people, learning new things, and building confidence in myself that I can take care of things on my own.

Love this analogy, because you can expand upon it. For example, he can go back to selling shovels bc he's pointing to where the "gold" used to be.

I agree, its hard to filter out all of those people who get themselves into a pissing contest. Which I think is human nature its even more apparent in the field of high-level academia.
