Gary Halbert 30 day challenge Copywriting Group

    HOT! MARKETING
Anyone else felling like Gary's 'book list' is a little outdated? I just finished ca$hvertising and Drew's booklist contains some of the classics Gary mentions, but it also contains more updated content including literature from David Ogilvy (who is a MUST read). Currently reading Boron Letters...

    Prototype

File a provisional patent, it's $70 and good for a year in pretty much all 1st world nations. As an engineer, if your design isn't load bearing then I HIGHLY recommend 3D printing. It's cheap and has a very fast turn around. Just use one of the many online 3D printing companies.

Books on identifying needs, markets, demand?

As an engineer, I want to talk with HR to try and get them to do a course in our office. This book is such a wealth of knowledge and creativity. But what I found most fascinating is that science has proven that thinking outside the box is far less creative than thinking inside the box. Sheer magic.

Doing it better than the competition

Sounds like a very interesting niche, especially with what's been happening in the UK. I'm in the rental industry and have a few tips: 1. No one gives a sh!t about your property. In fact, some find joy in purposefully damaging it. If the equipment is expensive, I would recommend insurance or...

20 Best Finance Books Rich People Read...

I've got to disagree. Although it's outdated, Think and Grow Rich is a great book to fuel the "entrepreneurial fire." It's historical period and message are whimsical, but at the same time it uses the greatest business legends of history to convey it's message.

    The "Astonishing Secrets" Thread

    GOLD! MINDSET
You dont even need a book. Confusius say man with hands in pockets feels lazy, but man with holes in pockets feels nuts. On topic, you speak about creative angles in business. I've heard it mentioned many times but I'm having trouble visualizing it. Is it a functional twist on a common...

    The "Astonishing Secrets" Thread

    GOLD! MINDSET
The words of Ryan and Zen are very close to the teachings of mindfulness meditation. It's about being here, in the present moment, and open to everything with a non-judgmental attitude. It's funny to realize how blind you have been to the world because of the constant rambling in your brain...

Limiting Beliefs or Realistic Beliefs? The Real Barrier

    MINDSET
jpa0827, I highly recommend you read the book, `Poorly Made in China.` The book is actually about an American living in China that helps importers deal with typical supplier problems/sneakiness. Everything Fell Apart And Lost Everything

I wouldn't go that far. But I would say that any kind of theft is a Treasonous Choice, no matter how small. MJ wrecked his viper with a treasonous choice and learned his lesson as a result. Let this be a lesson to OP.

Is it worth it to become an Accountant?

    HOT!
There is one fantastic perk about being an accountant for small businesses so I'm told by friends. When one of your clients sells their business they tell their accountant first, giving you "first dibs" on it. Since you take care of the company's books you know if the business is profitable and...
