    Cryptocurrency Experience

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
So I have a question about mining these coins. I have no idea how this process works, but I figured I would ask you guys and gals. Is the mining process secure? How secure? By mining coins do you open yourself up to potential hackers? Are there any security concerns with mining? Just wondering...

    IDEA

    Business and Brewskies 2014

    MEETUPS
Yea, go for it. I got worried that after they opened B&P up to more people this would be a flop. The hotel that I was talking to was very low end and it was still really expensive, lunch costs were like $23 bucks per person after they came down on the costs. Sounds like you have some great...

Diary of Opening A New Business

    NOTABLE!
If what I have learned from Jack is correct, it is just a big puzzle. I get the vibe that there is definitely a way to make anything work, you just have to find the angle. That is the biggest thing I have learned from @JackEdwards . You guys are right, you can't just start selling chopsticks...

    Meditation and the Fastlane

    HOT! MINDSET
My parents told me a story of when they were young. They got an unexpected medical bill or something, and they didn't have the money for it. It was a couple hundred bucks. They were really worried, so they prayed a lot about it. The next day they got a check in the mail from an old acquaintance...

The Difference between understanding and action

    MINDSET
I used to ignore you, because back when we had the old rep system you were in the red. I am glad I took a chance and read this post. I think you hit the nail on the head; and you described exactly what I tend to do. Thanks so much, I will take more time to read your posts from now on.

    Meditation and the Fastlane

    HOT! MINDSET
Without breaking forum rules, I think it depends on how you are praying. Lots of times prayer can be silent meditation and reflection where you don't need to say anything. Usually before you eat, however, people are giving thanks. So probably not in that sense. In college I learned some cool...

Is it a club or a gym?! How one woman is changing women workouts.

    EXECUTION
I saw a friend post about this on Facebook and her comment made me laugh, so I had to click. I was expecting something dumb or cheesy like Zumba, but after watching the video on the home page my mind was completely changed. www.vixenworkout.com/ Check out the video, it is an excellent example...

Why All The Secrecy? Here's Why...

    IMPORTANT!
Was it simple lack of results that turned the idea into a stupid idea? Or were there other revelations that made you realize it was a bad idea?

How social are you with strangers?

    HOT! MINDSET
Something that might help you is to talk to people that you have to interact with anyways. What I would do is go inside to pay for gas instead of paying at the pump. Then, just talk to the cashier. Ask them about how they are doing, talk about the weather, or ask them what products are selling...

Is a Degree in Economics Useful?

    EXECUTION
Here is a good definition of Economics: The study of how people allocate resources, given certain restrictions, in order to satisfy wants and needs. Like JasonR mentioned, your opportunity cost is what else you could have done with one of your resources: time.

Is a Degree in Economics Useful?

    EXECUTION
I was going to get my degree in economics, but due to bad professors I ended up getting my degree in Finance. Economics is a lot more 'fuzzy' than finance is, in my opinion. Balance sheets, and income statements don't really change and can be analyzed using a consistent framework. Economics, on...
