What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!

    NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHAT
Rich Dad's Guide to Investing. Simple, narrative writing style, not quite the FastLane style I would like, but good essential knowledge nonetheless

Good on you brother! Nothing like a toxic work environment to kill creativity and success, glad to hear you had the balls to get out

    Meditation Thread

Not at all! The core of meditation is simply being "mindful". If you find it easier to have your eyes open, then do that. I personally like to visualise with my eyes closed while I'm meditating, personal preference really

    Meditation Thread

I'm not the biggest fan of guided meditation, I usually prefer simply being still and concentrating on my breath for a few minutes, but these guys are a great resource if you like guided meditation. https://www.youtube.com/user/TheHonestGuys

    Anyone is Australia?

    MEETUPS
Melbourne here :) that said, I've recently joined the dark side (studying my masters of clinical physiology), so not much time for fastlane endeavors right now

    Nootropics? Anyone familiar with them?

    HEALTH
First time I stacked 30mg Noopept with 200mg caffeine was amazing, everything felt great and I could focus on something for 4 hours without realising. However the next few times the effects wore off, and now (even though I only have it maybe once every 2 months) I feel little effects, but lie in...

4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss

    BOOKS
A solid read, Tim takes the idea of freedom a lot differently than MJ. That said, it's always a good idea to ingest fresh ideas now and then, and a lot of what you take in with 4HWW you can modify to fit fastlane theories.

How to stop teens from texting while driving

Didn't read the whole thread, but my idea: Ban automatic transmissions :P that'll help!

    Meditation Thread

Been trying to get on a regular schedule, as when I was I was DEFINITELY more productive, better at making decisions from instinct, better at coming up with ideas etc. Big advocate of meditation. I'm in no way some new-age hippie or anything, but I highly recommend it, at least 4 minutes a day...

    eBay Gym Apparel Idea

    HOT! IDEA
My approach is a combination of the two, cheap gym wear with slick designs. This is because I feel that is wear there is a niche in the market. I know me personally (and most of my gym going friends) can't justify spending $35+ on one tank, but at the same time want a design that isn't boring or...

I'm currently studying a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology, and have a Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science. I was considering tying this in with a clothing label, possibly by running a blog focusing on the science behind fitness. I know (yet again) that the fitness blog market is...

Sorry for the late reply, been busy selling my car. Spreadshirt actually isn't a bad idea, completely slipped my mind earlier. Thanks for the tip! Discourse: So true. Just because someones doing something well, doesn't mean you can't do it better ;)

PureA: I understand, this is why you post ideas here first before going through with them ;) that said, in Australia I do believe there is a piece of market not being filled. Whether or not that slice of market is large enough to make any substantial profit or not however is another story...

Neither have a strong influence on Aus eBay markets. Very strong in ecommerce no doubt, but eBay not so much. In fact, a search for fitwear brings no results on Aus eBay, and Gymshark only 2 items.

As outlined above, I will be mainly focusing on designs and price. I don't plan on being the cheapest, but I plan on having the best designs for a price slightly more reasonable than competitors. A quick trawl of eBay shows 4 main competitors. Adonis Gear, NAKD, StrongLiftWear and Echt. SLW is...

Serks: I've budgeted $100 for shipping, so if your estimate is accurate that would be ideal. What % do eBay take? I've never ran a store before, just had personal accounts. For the moment it's really just getting my feet wet with a sales oriented business. I currently run a successful mobile...

I've found a supplier who says "they will", but I get the feeling it would be for an inflated rate. Would you have any other suggestions on where to look?
