    Selling Spreadsheets

Thanks, Sonya. I saw his Lulu link but I am at *work* right now and Big Brother has a filter that won't allow me to access the Lulu website. I'll check out his page when I get home. :thankyousign:

Thanks, ATW. I think his name was Fulmer, or something like that. I'll go take a look. It's been so long since I have been to the RD forums!

    Selling Spreadsheets

I have developed a simple spreadsheet on Microsoft Excel that fills a void in a niche market. I have googled every possible search term I can think of and have searched eBay and it seems there isn't anything in the market like this one. My question: Can I sell products I develop in Excel...

:iagree: Madden '09 is only a few weeks away. I can't tell you the last time I actually played a full game on Madden. Always "Owner Mode" and I let my "coaches" do my dirty work for me.

Ryan, count me in as well. If we want to put a *Business* approach to it, may I recommend a dynasty league? I am in two and being in them makes all other snake-draft leagues seem, I don't know, so yesterday. In a dynasty league, you *own* your franchise. Owners may come and go, but their...

May be room to compete in the E-Auction world

    WEB/DIGITAL
I would be curious to know some of them, possibly a bit generalized so as to not reveal too much insider dealings. But I think it would be interesting to hear some of what causes these issues to what appears to be such a solid company. Some lessons could possibly be learned. And if you...

May be room to compete in the E-Auction world

    WEB/DIGITAL
JScott, that's a great point. Out of curiosity (and to some degree lack of knowledge), when a company gets as big as eBay, does it have to go public? It seems that once a company goes public it loses sight of its mission and everything that it once stood for. Money becomes the...

May be room to compete in the E-Auction world

    WEB/DIGITAL
I have thought the same way for a while. Problem is, getting yourself out there and actually becoming a player in this market. I think a site like Craigslist does well to offer the lower end customers an alternative to eBay but I also question a lot of the content on Craigslist. Also...

Legit or not, it looks and reads like a scam. I agree it must be part of the instant verification. But it still looks suspicious at best.

Not that this is news to anybody here, but whenever I buy something online, say from eBay, I NEVER click the links that are emailed to me telling me how to pay for what I purchased. If I am paying for something via Paypal, I type their URL into my address bar and log-in from there. I got...

That must be how you become "verified" on Paypal. I've been using them for years but have never had to give more than just the basic CC# for billing purposes. MJ, are you sure this wasn't the Paypal based out of Nigeria???

    Need some ideas!

    IDEA
I like the idea of making up words. It is original and creative and, in all likelihood, will be available in a .com. There are too many words and phrases that are already taken. Are there two words that have relevance to your idea that you could merge into a new word? This could...

Good post. You struck a cord on me w/ this one, 8-Snake. While not something I often admit to many people, I am a very emotional person. Yes, I am that guy that occassionally sheds tears watching a movie w/ my girlfriend, or watching Grey's Anatomy for that matter. As I have matured...
