    I think it's because it's easier to use on the go, or for those times when washing your hands isn't practical. For the last few weeks, I've been keeping hand sanitizer in my car. Whenever I leave a store, for example, I sanitize my hands immediately afterward. And I'm washing my hands. A lot.
