    In general, it still takes a lot of time to develop software, even if you have it laid out. The question is, will you meet someone zealous to steal your idea? I seriously doubt it. Since it is a risk you incur by contracting freelancers however, you could opt to avoid passing along a digital copy.

    It's all about paradigm shifts. Setting up a bar that says "I must do X amount of hours on exercise Y or else I have FAILED" is a huge mistake. You will feel like shit whenever you don't meet an expectation that was unrealistic to begin with.
