    Teacher, Real Estate, Or Youtuber?

    HOT!
There are tons of lifestyle coaches that have made millions off a single book. It all depends on how well you can sell the book. You are right though, most lifestyle coaches have to keep making new products to maintain their current level of sells. We don't know your situation financially to...

    Teacher, Real Estate, Or Youtuber?

    HOT!
"What do I do" is what every single person struggles with. I struggled with that for 6 months after I quit my job before I figured out what I wanted to do. My advice, your not going to find that big thing on your first attempt. Take action on whatever thing that you are capable of doing now...

What are you passionate about in your business?

    MINDSET
If your business is, for the most part, separate from your time, it's not really a hassle and something you gotta dread to get up to do. In the initial stages, it's a lot of work and it's going to be tough to pull through, but once you pull through it's really a nice lifestyle in my opinion...

Breadcrumbs... 1 year in business and 3 years on the forum

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
Great post. When I first started browsing this forum so long ago, I always thought to myself "why does everyone say if you can't pay cash for it, don't get it." I've realized this now by watching and listening from other peoples failures. Debt is a terrible enemy for anyone in the startup...

    INTRO
Welcome to the forum, I think balance is really important in terms of productivity. Before I even knew what fastlane was, I wanted to make a ton of money by working as hard as I can. I put all my friends on hold, worked 3 jobs and never went out and did much... And you know what? The quality...

    How To Fire Someone

    PEOPLE
Great post. I have a few employees as well, one being a close friend. I thought if I paid him $14 an hour over the industry standard which is $10 an hour, I'd get better work out of him as well. Turned out he was skipping jobs and cutting corners everywhere and almost lost me a chunk of my...

Living off dividends/interest vs. buying and holding stocks?

    INVESTING
Welcome to the forum. If your business is making 200-300k per year, then you're in a good spot. But as others have said, you aren't at that stage where you want to throw your money into passive investments. If you invested your left over money each year into wealth preservers like stocks/RE...

    Best college degrees

Not everyone has an entrepreneurial mindset. They just want a decent paying job to pay their bills so they can enjoy themselves after 5pm and on the weekends with no added stress. We want people like that to work for us and help operations flow, don't try to change or knock them. But also don't...

    Best college degrees

Worth what? What do they want to accomplish with said degree, what is their end goal.. This forum isn't really the place for college advice. They have to step up and make their own decisions in life and be confident in them. We can't make their life decisions for them, it'd set them up for...

my 2 cent. Exactly as Jon said, especially if your parents are going to pay your way through school. It will never get easier than right now to get the business going. I'm a chemical engineering student and I run a side business while taking advanced senior engineering classes. My school is...
