Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHAT1. The kids are still on school holidays so I'm happy with making any progress at all this week. I've been able to complete last week's goals so I feel really good about that. Did a competitor analysis and attempted a prototype. 2. Too early to have sales 3. Given family commitments, I feel...- Currawong

Starting food product business
EXECUTIONHey Oilman, thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. It sounds like you're a little ahead of me. I haven't even thought of marketing yet (I'm a complete newbie). I have been reading Ryan Moran's 12 months to 1 million. He seemed to have some good tips on building a social media following to...- Currawong

Starting food product business
EXECUTIONHi, I'm starting this thread for accountability and so others can learn from my journey's ups and downs. Thanks for reading and for any feedback! Quick intro: I'm married, two kids. The slow lane has been OK for providing for my family, but it's slowly smothering me. MJ's books have been an...- Currawong

HOT! CHATSo Citi Bank is the first bank moving deposits into digital tokens, with Gov blessing. How long until the Gov restricts what individual tokens can be spent on? Been an annoying boy? No ammo purchase for you. Spending too much? Spending limit for you. Not spending enough? Expiry date for you!- Currawong

Surprisingly simple stupid businesses- that somehow work
GOLD! HOT! IDEAI signed up for Ryan’s ‘free email course’ not so much for the course itself as to learn more about how he does content marketing/lead nurturing. I’ve been a little underwhelmed with the first couple of emails. Today’s one, though, was along the lines of ‘I’m updating my paid course because it...- Currawong

Website evaluation
MARKETINGCongrats! (BTW nice to see another Victorian on the forum) I was really puzzled by the banner image - didn't realise the rectangle showing 'step two remove ridges' was the top of the product. I thought it was a text-box on the banner that hadn't been replaced. If the banner had an image of the...- Currawong

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATSorry, this is a rant. A moment ago my employer announced they expect me to participate in a 'Pride Bake' as, among other things, 'part of a bigger movement to create moments to talk about outdated ideas about gender'. I'm happy that people are not clones and I'm respectful to all my work...- Currawong

What's your Lambo? What's your WHY or PURPOSE?
NOTABLE! CHATMy main Lambo is curiosity and desire to force myself to grow. Yes, providing value and gaining financial/time freedom etc are also drivers but curiosity/growth is the big one. Can I do 'this'? How do I overcome 'that'? Has doing 'scary or hard thing' changed me for the better? What have my...- Currawong

I called the potential fastlane mentors phone number, now Im confused as shit...
HOT! QUESTIONWhat was his talk focussed on? Was it all about the money and lifestyle? Was it all about 'event' (with an implied 'you can have this too!') or was it about 'process', value delivered and lessons learnt? If it was 'event', I'd be very cautious - it might be a sales pitch to an audience chosen...- Currawong

Reverse engineering an idea
CHAT SAAS / APPS WEB DESIGNI'm just wondering about the ordering... that's a lot of time skill learning before you discover what needs are out there, how significant they are and how much they can and will pay to fix them. Couldn't you find users of existing tools first and get those answers before making such a big time...- Currawong

Idea Generation To Execution: Fastlane Millionaire's Step By Step Guide
GOLD! HOT! IDEAYou'd have me lined up asking to be first customer. I was inspired by the excellent and actionable ecommerce posts you've both put out to recently start down that path myself, and am painfully aware that I don't know what I don't know. A course that could shed some light in the gloom would...- Currawong

Cruise ship crew member looking for a possible business idea
IDEAI might be an outlier in this - before I reduced my consumption of media, I loved YouTubes that showed behind-the-scenes, those places the public never gets to access. I've enjoyed YT channels about life living on cargo ships, life as a cruise ship gymnast, a soundman, how the ship kitchens...- Currawong

You Don’t Have to be a Freelancer
