The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    CHAT - AI -
I guess I'll be the skeptic here. I don't think what current LLM technolgy is doing is anything even remotely close to human thinking. At least, not so far, and it probably won't be in the next 30 years +. Maybe if investment persists for 100 years we might get toddler level actual intelligence...

It's kind of funny how they always try to sell IQ boosting software to people who are insecure about their intelligence, and now the rona boosting market is basically the same strategy.

At last count I estimated 97.8% commies. We killed off most of the carnivores, and this is what we got. The dire wolves can't breed fast enough, hallelujah.

I tried it, and it was less responsive than I would expect. I think there was a delay for processing or something. Also, I'm not sure, but does the microphone only work if the "chat" text field has the cursor in it? It seemed like that was the case, but the cursor was not there by default, so I...

I pay $100 per week to clean about 1400sf of office with one bathroom. They come once a week on Friday, for 2 hours. That's nearly 5k already. Why didn't I shop around for someone who will work for $15 per hour? Because they'll quit, and then I'll spend the rest of my life hiring new cleaning...

Dotteree wanted a fun birthday, and since she's my daughter, that obviously means some kind of Medieval / Renaissance theme, combat, and the subtle hiraedd of lost culture. So we are having a madrigal birthday party, of sorts. Complete with giant pointy-top tent, string quartet, archery...

What do you use for making invoices?

    QUESTION
Things I've used fairly recently are: LibreOffice (it's perfectly fine, just put your logo in the header), Stripe (has a pay-online link), and Odoo (also works with Stripe and other payment methods).

No way. A kid is not "isolated" because they love life more than less passionate people. They are transcending the depression and nihilism of the masses. No reason to hold them back just to make them fit in with people with limiting beliefs and limited prospects.

I seem to recover faster now, at 45, than I did at 30. Probably some diet, nutrition, posture, habits lesson there, if I was smart enough to figure out what it is.

That's the crux of it. But it's there and interest is the key to unlocking it. Individual potential is so underestimated.

Free sales pitch? Maybe that could be one of the automatic text edits, like when we type " c e n t s" and it becomes cents  [edit: it didn't this time, but I'm pretty sure it usually does. Or at least some other things get automatically link-ified] Hello, would you like free training...
