    eCommerce Supply Question

I'll just give a little bit of information.. I'm interested in selling art/designs/decoration type things specifically aimed at college students for their dorm rooms. I'm a freshman in college and myself and my friends are having a difficult time finding nice looking decorations without paying...

    eCommerce Supply Question

I have an idea for an ecommerce website, but I'm a little unsure about this part. I'll be selling a number of different products, mostly sourced from overseas. However, I'm not sure how to keep them in stock. My problem is I have very little money and no place for storage. I could be able to get...

Just an update, maybe some other people will look at this and find it helpful. I took Vick's idea but switched it up a little bit. I wanted to keep the Amazon button because I thought it looked more professional. Took a screenshot of it, uploaded to an image hosting site, put the image on my...

Probably not tons. I didn't write it to try and make huge profits, I just thought it would be a good start to figure out the best way to do things. It just happens to be an area that I have a lot of expertise in! I just plan on having fun with this, maximizing sales as best I can, and using all...

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!

    NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHAT
Just started Capital in the 21st Century by Thomas Piketty. Not very far in but his writing style is annoying me a little bit, other than that seems like a quality read.

Thanks everyone for all of the advice. Any ideas what I should do about the adblock problem with the button? I got rid of the 'quality, well written' thing, you were right about that. And are you talking about the sharing tabs on the left side of the home page or the Facebook/twitter stuff on...

Hmm, I'm not sure what the problem is. I just tested it on safari, chrome, and firefox on my computer and it's all fine. Should show up as an amazon button under the words.

    Finished Up My Website Today!

    MARKETING
I've been working on this for a little bit to try and increase sales of my ebook on Amazon. I was getting barely a sale a day which was disappointing, so hopefully this will help. I started a twitter account, Facebook page, and have set up bing ads, google ads, and Facebook ads. I would...

    GOLD! SOURCING
Wondering if this is shady or the normal way things work in China.. I'm trying to order samples from a company and I've been talking with their sales representative. We decided on three samples for $30, including shipping costs. He then asked for me to send the money via paypal, but the paypal...

What Do I Do with all the Money I made?

    HOT! INVESTING
Maybe you should schedule a meeting with a couple local investment managers just to see what they have to say. In my opinion it would be a very worthwhile thing to do.

What Do I Do with all the Money I made?

    HOT! INVESTING
A lot of people here seem to be against investing in the markets, but that seems like a logical decision to me. Compound interest is a powerful thing. If you don't understand things yourself, and you probably don't have time to learn, you should shop around and find an investment manager to...

Anyway you could connect me with the person who formats for you on Fiverr? I have a book with a lot of pictures and I can't figure out how to make it look halfway decent.

    Dip Them Toes In...

    PUBLISHING
I tried Amazon self-publishing a few months ago with a guide for a video game that I'm really familiar with. So far I've gotten 0 sales. Did you advertise these stories at all or people just found them? I've been meaning to make a quick website or something but haven't really had the time and...
