Case Study: Amazon's Algorithm Loves My Book (Rank #1) But Customers Don't. Why?

That's an important question. I went off my own experience and that of millions of Afro-descendants (that I can see online). This is a book that I believe is needed, that I use myself, and that I intend to transmit to my kids. Also, I saw other books in the space sell thousands and even hundred...

That would be ideal. Unfortunately, these people are extremely demanded people. Moreover, asking for an interview now would be disingeneous, for I clearly told them that reaching out and sharing the book was a genuine move of respect and gratitude (not a strategy to get something from them). And...

Thanks for the advice. But at this point (less than 2 months and just 3 sales), I don't think that I should invest my time and any energy into other products (books, etc.). Oh, yes! I believe that this book provides immense value. I skewed the value array of this market far beyond what other...

@Dark Water , thank you very much for your honest and actionable response. Let me go through it step by step. Thanks for the appreciation. The Tribe of Mentors is a good example because it is in the same register as my book. That said, I do have a synopsis (my Amazon description). What I lack...

I really think that this book is a good idea. And on top of that, I have some good evidence for need. 1- There is high organic engagement with African history/wisdom content on social platforms (millions of views on TikTok/Facebook/YouTube for similar themes). 2- There is an important gap to...

I don't know. Can we check that on Amazon? What makes me say that Amazon customers don't like the book is that I only got 3 sales on Amazon and 0 review in 40 days. Amazon doesn't provide any way for me to contact the specific people who bought the book, so I can't reach out to them. It's...

1- "Do you bring anything to these quotes or have you just copied them down with no input from yourself?" The objective was to let the voices of Africa reveal the authentic philosophy of the continent themselves. This is because I believe that people are buying such a book to not hear from me (a...
