Selling a car with owner financing?

I'm no expert, but I believe you would have to pay close attention to ursury laws in your state, esp. considering 24% interest. I also would imagine it is a little easier to "repo" a rental property (where you are removing someone from a stationary object), as opposed to a mobile piece of...

    Fulfill This Need... Please!

    - order everything from computer - pay online or when you get there - people from the "pre-purchase unnamed company", who are ready and waiting for online orders in your local supermarket, go around the store, pull the items off the shelves, and bag them *tricky part* - once items are "picked"...

    Drop Shipping

What NHS said has been my experience exactly. The only caveat is if you can get a genuine MAP product, then SEO your way to the top search ranking. You can upsell them once they buy your MAP product, and the MAP usually (but not always!) has a decent margin. That's the only way drop shipping...

    2011 is gunna be huge!

That's totally awesome! Ready-made press release/news story. "Stranded on the side of the road, rgill50 thought to himself 'they are always saying that I just need to build a better mouse trap, and my path to millions will be paved'. Taking that old axiom literally, rgill50 announced today the...

I have to ask...did you get the idea for the mousetrap from constantly hearing that "build a better mouse trap" line about entrepreneurs/inventions?

    Online business started, need help

    WEB/DIGITAL
Please don't make the same mistake I did/am doing - make sure that your site is optimized for conversions before spending money on advertising. There is no point in driving traffic to a site that doesn't convert visitors into sales. You need research everything you can about conversion...

My plan / website - looking for feedback

I like the site in general - some things I might add: - can you get rid of LLC in the name? My personal opinion - and please don't take any offense, but when I see LLC as the DBA name, it makes it seem like a one-man show - the lettering/spacing under the logo can be tightened up and more...

Massive solar storm to hit Earth in 2012 with force of 100m bombs

    OFF-TOPIC
Re: Massive solar storm to hit Earth in 2012 with force of 100m b Hopefully people will take a more measured response to this kind of news and patronize my business instead of buy crazy 2012 doomsday equipment, ala 2000 scare. I am trying to decide whether to position my business as a 2012...

Passionate about your business or $$$$?

I think you have to be passionate about making money to be successful financially in business. Otherwise, why not just volunteer? (I have volunteered thousands of hours, and they bring you a different kind of success and happiness, but certainly not financial success) I find that my deepest...

Valedictorian Speaks Out Against Schooling in Graduation Speech

Re: Valedictorian Speaks Out Against Schooling in Graduation Spee I wish I could have been valedictorian, just so I could read this speech aloud to my esteemed, top 1% of high school graduates, class. I wish I could say more, other than I work in DC for the federal government, I have been on...

Disgusting example of regulation's effect on business

"What are the symptoms associated with Clostridium botulinum? Foodborne botulism produces symptoms within 6 hours, although most begin within 12 to 36 hours, and some can even start after two weeks. Symptoms associated with foodborne botulism include double and blurred vision, slurred speech...

Disgusting example of regulation's effect on business

It is important to note that food-borne illness can indeed cause nearly immediate severe illness and even death. While not the majority of cases, there are numerous bacterial strains that produce toxins (exotoxins) which are immediately hazardous to human health. These toxins are the waste...

Disgusting example of regulation's effect on business

Well Russ, I see your point and agree that you are right. I can think of a few solutions to the problem of, for instance, duplictave tax returns for different jurisdictions, but over all...I would much rather be doing business in the US, and if that is the cost of business, than so be it. I do...

Disgusting example of regulation's effect on business

Russ - I respect the perspective that you have as someone who has obviously been very successful, but I have to disagree on a couple of points. First, my posting of the article was not an attack on the fact that regulations were enforced (the health code person had every right to force her to...

Disgusting example of regulation's effect on business

"I guess it depends, if this girl buys a permit then does the health inspector come out to inspect the lemonade? I think we really should look at what the permit process entails. Is it's purpose is to just get income for the city or what exactly does it provide for $120?" This is my entire...

No question, gotta play football - good lord if there wasn't a fun physical release for me (hockey in my case) I think I would have probably gone crazy at my 9-5 alone, let alone cooped up in my house working on survival kit descriptions. I think those stories you hear about people who are...
