Happy Birthday zend***phin! (Here is Your Present)

    HOT! PEOPLE
Well then he should sign up - if he can do that, I'm pretty sure he'd be able to push past the fears of failure and humiliation and skip that whole step most of us had to go through :)

Happy Birthday zend***phin! (Here is Your Present)

    HOT! PEOPLE
On the list of things MJ thought he would see on his forum - I'm pretty sure a nearly naked forum member rubbing chocolate sauce on himself in tribute to another forum member was not on the list... The takeaway is that one should provide so much value in whatever he or she does, that others...

Journey To One Hundred Thousand in 12 Months.

    EXECUTION
I was where you were a few months ago regarding calls, here's how I got over it: -I realized that I was going to fail over and over, and that it was OK because it was simply a process I had to go through in order to get to "yes" -Calls suck. No one likes them. You don't have to pretend that you...

    Website Design

    EXECUTION
FYI, one of the people I write for is the DARNG, and my boss is MI branch. My only advice is to get an MVP or landing page up, run ads, and validate the idea. You should be spending a lot of your time at this point talking to potential customers, asking them what features they want, etc. I...

Afraid to start my 3rd business after a burnout - how not to overdo it next time??

    MINDSET FTE
I'd also do an honest self assessment on how much you could/should have delegated, outsourced, or automated, and as you build your next business constantly think about how to move from where you are at that moment to a solution that doesn't require your direct attention/time in order to operate...

    Competitive Paralysis

    MINDSET
The only reason I have any opportunity in my market is because 1) property managers refuse to change while freely admitting they are 2 decades behind the times, and 2) other OTAs keep offering the same stuff in the same way year after year

I'm going to be on TV this weekend

    OFF-TOPIC
I have "one degree of Kevin Bacon" with an Iron Chef winner - if it's helpful I can probably arrange an introduction (the chef works in NYC).

Has anyone flown in a Q400 or TurboProp?

    OFF-TOPIC
In fairness to you, your fears are well-placed. Take off is the most dangerous time for any flight in any airplane. You're slow, the engines until that point have not reached max power, so you are unsure how they will perform, and if there is a problem right after takeoff you have very few...

When you let 'the academic' into the meeting... LOL

Who was the chief executive of the company? Clearly it was one of those younger guys - to let his team disrespect investors like that would be inexcusable and cause for dismissal from the board, as the chief executive (who had apparently been empowered by the bylaws of the corporation to enter...

Has anyone flown in a Q400 or TurboProp?

    OFF-TOPIC
Why would you be terrified? They have to adhere to the maintenance standards that the jets (more specifically the airlines) have to. I don't mean to be pejoritive - I'm generally curious. I have a private pilot license and have personally flown nothing larger than a 4-seater (which could easily...

    Lead generation questions to MJ

    WEB/DIGITAL
Too dynamic - there are thousands of homes, with prices that fluctuate based on popularity, season, location, etc. An oceanfront home may go for $800 under certain conditions. That's one reason why I'm moving toward a straightup booking site.

    Lead generation questions to MJ

    WEB/DIGITAL
Another example of bad leads is low ballers. My leads identify what they want and how much they want to pay up front - 25-33% put up bids that are way too low ($800/wk for an oceanfront home in the summer). My nextgen concept will elimate these tire kickers - only people paying for open weeks...

    Can I Help YOU?

    HOT!
MHolland I think you have a pretty large business opportunity - you just had two people freak out about obtaining the knowledge you have. You might want to put together a youtube video of dogs running at you and a simple website. I'll help if you want. :)
